Psalm 91 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because He loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for He acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Hebrews 12:1-3 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
John 3:11 “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.”
Hebrews 2:16-18 “For surely it is not angels He helps, but Abraham’s descendants. 17For this reason He had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.
Psalm 34:18 “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Sometimes I bleed
Sometimes I am cut
I stop and look to see
How bad is the wound
I see the attack
I hear and see
The slicing of me
Pain explodes
Somehow
Fear is not a part of me
Seeing the gaping wound
I am not afraid
The wound
Even as the blade is
Finishing its cut
I quickly see
His hand
It follows the blade
Not one drop
Of blood
Issues forth
For directly behind
The blade
Is His healing hand
I fear not
Yes the cut was made
As I have been
Previously cut
Yet because of have been
Because of that experience
Knowledge of what follows
Is within me
It reminds me
That I may be cut
But I will never bleed
Wounds will happen
Healing follow with it
I have no blood to shed
His blood was already
Shed for me
Healing is not newly
Needed
It has never left me
Yes, I can be cut
Pain will happen
Never will it last
My God is with me always
Thought I am hurt
His life gives me life
Though I am wounded
Hope never leaves me
Because He
Is always with me
Whom shall I fear
What shall I fear
S will sometimes
Hurt me
But the cure comes
Quicker every time
For I know who is
My Help
The Lover
Of my soul
He who loves me
Beyond any other
Is He who watches
Over me and is
My Protector
And Provider
Thank you
Father,
Son,
And Holy Spirit
To love is
The greatest blessing
With the greatest risk
As you have done
And do
May I be like You
Trusting You in all ways
Knowing with the
Risks From Without
Is the love
And the healing
From within
Praise you Lord
Thank you Lord
