Oh my Lord, My God,
My heart sings to you,
My soul shouts for your ear,
Your ears that hear my whispered pleas,
In the spirit, I dance with you my God,
As I sing praises to you I dance with you,
A victory dance of the victory of victories,
The victory which belongs to you,
And that you lovingly bequeath to me.
So singing praises to your victory,
I run about your palace floor,
Tightly grasped to my chest is the victory,
That is your gift to me.
I skip on streets of gold,
I shout the reverberating galactic truth,
That Jesus Christ lives,
You, oh Infinite God have found a place,
In my frail and unworthy being,
That you have called Home.
Because you live in me,
I am free,
A slave celebrating his emancipation,
I cannot contain my joy,
Nor do I want to,
Before all of creation I shout that,
There is none like You.
With words incapable of expressing Your glory,
And dances failing to express the full joy,
With arms not able to be lifted high enough,
And with a heart and mind overflowing,
At the joy of who you are,
I celebrate you Almighty God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
