As I awake this morning,
There is a cry in my heart,
It is a cry for You Lord!
This heart, this soul, this spirit,
Were created and set in place,
By You, For You, For Me.
This cry is a beacon from origin,
It crosses all distance,
Breaks through all dimensions,
The beacon, the siren, is a call,
A sweet call to a place called,
Home.
As I begin my day I consider,
That this cry is a call from You,
To You,
From Your heart to mine.
This cry began in Your heart,
Pulses in my heart,
It leads me to you.
I hear you Lord, I hear you Lord,
As you call to me,
Oh Lord, In Your time, Bring me,
Home.
Though here, let me be there,
Home.
