2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Buffeted from forces I cannot see,
Nothing of myself able to fight back.
Reeling I stand, looking likely to die,
Surely I will come apart and next for me is doom.
Knowing that I have no power to save myself,
Yet I know that victory is even now pulsing within.
I am glad that I am nothing, that I am weak,
In a state of brokenness, victory wells up within.
Yes, being broken by the enemy,
Victory from God is all over me,
His sweet scent heals me!
When the enemy beats me,
God heals me!
As I break,
God builds me up!
As I am emptied,
God fills me to overflowing!
When I am thoroughly defeated
God makes me invincible!
As the enemy thinks victory over me is complete,
What is unbeatable within me God raises!
When I am dead and the world has buried me,
God resurrects me!
I simply cannot lose, I can never die,
Eternal victory is forever mine,
Through my Lord and Savior Jesus!
Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
