Zephaniah 3:12, 17– But I will leave within you the meek and humble. The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the Lord. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
In what is my comfort? In what is my delight? How fragile and empty if in anything or anyone other than God? Every other thing in which one places their faith, joy or confidence in, is grasping at the wind. When hands are opened they are found to be empty. Oh Lord God, may my eyes be ever searching, my ears ever listening, my heart ever longing only for You. You and only You Almighty God are the “I AM” whom I seek. I need You Lord and I must pursue You every day. I must be in Your presence every waking and sleeping moment of my life or my life is out of focus, unbalanced, lacking and searching. I love You Lord! It is You I seek. May You give to me the infinite presence that is You. May the river flow and may there be no still water between You to me. Oh Lord please anoint my soul with the beauty of You. You are my meal! You are my drink! Without You my soul perishes and with it my body. I reach to You with outstretched and desperate arms! Oh Lord fill me ever more and cause me to walk in the awareness of Your presence, Your love and Your grace. Praise God!
Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Micah 6:8 – He has shown You, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Your God.
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
