I don’t want to be sensible in how I love and serve the Lord. I want to believe the Word of God and act on it. If I err on being a zealot, so be it. My desire is to please God! What does that mean? It means I need to absolutely love Him and express His love to others. In doing that, I show it as He has commanded, not by the ever changing standards of mankind. God is God, He does not change. Malachi 3:6a ““For I am the Lord, I do not change…”
