James 4:7-8 – Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
Family and Friends, below is a simple song with a simple truth. Simple, but powerful. The devil wants us to get our eyes off the Lord and focus on our troubles, our woes, he wants us to focus on what hurts our heart clear into our spirits. Don’t take his bait! The devil is screaming “look at what I’m doing!” He does not want us to see what God is doing. Don’t look at the ugly, look at our beautiful God. We must train ourselves to focus on God and count our blessings. Name them one by one. Even when the hurts and troubles are many and seem insurmountable, when we turn to focus on God then we will realize that God has blessed us beyond the sorrows and hurts. We realize that in the midst of our sorrows and hurts God is with us and blessing us. The truth is we always need to focus on God who is focused on us. Try it you will like. God is waiting to meet your gaze. He loves you so much! John 3:16
Please try. If it doesn’t seem to work for you, then let’s get together and talk. If we can’t get together, then let’s talk on the phone. If we can’t get together in person, or on the phone, then let’s correspond via email, or text. Family, blessings from God are real and they are free. God excludes no-one. Just don’t exclude yourself by refusing to come to Jesus. Of course, always, before any person, first go to God. Then, after first calling on God, then talk to someone who personally knows Him. There’s probably plenty around you who love Jesus. All of you are loved by God. Yes all of you are loved by God no matter what you’ve done in the past. There is no need to continue in the pain. Look to God. He’s waiting for you, He always has been, He will meet you there. Do it today. (Jeremiah 29:13, Acts 17:27) So “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (James 4:7-8) Family and friends run to God, He is calling to you and waiting for you to answer His call. Look to God. Count your blessings, He is the greatest one of all! Praise God!
