Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 – We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 5:7, 9– For we walk by faith, not by sight. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
Sometimes I just want to pull back from everyone and just live in a corner with God. It seems that even when I mean well I hurt, anger and offend. Sometimes it’s just because of my flesh rising up in us. Sometimes it is me just being the irascible person that I can be. I don’t mean to be the offender, but too often I am. Then The Accuser jumps up to say to me “See! See how you are? You are not worthy to write down anything concerning the Word of God! Who are you to share the sacred Word of God?” I have to agree with Him. I am not worthy. But God calls me to do the ministry that I do, so I do it. What I do I am called to do by the One Holy God. So I do it. My feelings and my thoughts are subject to the Holy Spirit of God and the Word of God. It is God who has called me so I will do it! If I stumble then with my trust in Him, I get up and move forward. What else can I do? Yes, I am very imperfect, but He is absolutely perfect. I am thankful to God who sustains me. Psalm 119:116 “Sustain me, my God, according to Your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.” And with my eyes on Him, my hope is never dashed
Praise God in the morning, throughout the day, and into every night! More than the air we breathe let the love and mercy of God be what sustains us. Our breath may leave us but our God never will. Praise God!
Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Micah 6:8 – He has shown You, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
