From The Corner Of Your Throne Room

How great are You oh God

Infinitely above all things I see

These things that You have created

I love You Lord

With all my heart I cry out to You

The hands and arms of my heart

Stretch out to You

In dire utter need I reach for You

My eyes search for You

Listening I wait for Your Word

If my heart does not beat for You

Then it beats in vain

Every inhaled and exhaled breath

Not glorifying You

Is wasted

Every caring act offered to another

Serves no purpose

If Your name is not praised

If I were to save the world

And it was not for You

Then we are all lost

Your beauty oh God

Overtakes me and yet

What I know is so small

Is less than a beginning

God, Your wisdom I grow in

And yet, I have not I even completed

One step

Who I am is found in You

And if I am not found in You

All is in vain, all is a waste

Lord more than food or water

I need You with great desperation

Urgently, a matter of life and death

Knowing You is to have life

Not knowing You is death

You are the life of my life

Giver of Life I seek You

Peace of life may my

Unworthy dirty hands

Grasp onto Your holy feet

That I might touch You and

Hold you

May I from the corner

Of Your throne room

Gaze in admiration at Your beauty

Miraculous beauty so wonderful

It both breaks and heals my heart

From the corner of Your throne room

I listen to the majesty and sweetness

Of Your voice that unlocks

The blessings You have already placed

In my heart from eternity past

With my gaze eternally on You

These blessings are eternally mine

No reason is sound that does not begin

With You

Creator of my soul

He who nourishes my being

From before the beginning of time

Your blessings to me have been

Prepared for me to walk into

Yes child, beloved of mine

It is I who have known you

Before the universe came into being

I have known you

Before the first sunrise

I looked lovingly upon you

Before the first sunrise

I looked lovingly upon you

Before the first sunrise

I saw your birth

Oh the joy of your birth

Brought a song to my lips

And I knew your name

Before your mother uttered it

Your first breath was a wonder

Greater than sunbursts

When your were born you knew

My voice and your heart

Joined with the beat of my love

Always my hand is upon you

Guiding you and strengthening you

Leading you into, and through

Exactly what you need

More than all

I have always loved you

Dear loved child

One truth is constant and remains

One truth for you to hold onto

I love you
