Exodus 34:26 – “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.”
Lord forgive me for the times I do not give you my best. Please forgive me for the times I do not give you the best of all that I do. It is shameful that any dream I have should be higher than my dream to do all that I can do to glorify You and to continue Your ministry as you have called me to do. There is nothing that I can do, have done, or will do that is more vitally and eternally important than keeping my eyes on You and my ears listening for Your guidance. My first thoughts, my freshest energy, my highest love, my greatest attention, and the highest and first part of my will all belong to You. Please teach me and empower me. Draw me ever closer to You Lord. Lord, You are first and there are no seconds beside You! You are good and You love me! Lord, strengthen me that I may always give You my best and the first of all that I do and all that I am. Anything less is shameful! Lord, please use me to glorify You! You are my purpose. Forgive me for the times I do not give You my best. Thank you that You do! Praise You Lord! My heart lifts You up and my mind clings to You. I want to first and always praise and glorify You in all that I do. I fall so short. Thank you that You never give up on me. Thank you Lord for being exactly who You are. Thank you Lord! Praise you Lord!
