Ezekiel 48:35b – …“And the name of the city from that time on will be: the Lord is there.”
The New City we will live in will be called “THE LORD IS THERE.” How wonderful is that? All who love and serve God are called to encourage each other that the day is coming when all the promises of God are received. The promises of God about our future with no pain, suffering or tears should be one way we encourage each other. Family we are going to the place that is identified by the truth “THE LORD IS THERE!” The best part of Heaven is that God is there and we will be with Him! Wow! Oh my…wow! Oh that day!
And, we should remember, that the Lord has already given down payments on many of the promises that will be fulfilled on the great day when we are called to be with Him forever. Jesus said that He will always be with us and never forsake us (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5) and even now the Father, He and the Holy Spirit lives within (John 14:23, Galatians 4:26) . But then, oh my, to be able to see Him night and day, every day, that is the greatest day! We shall see God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! Oh my, oh my!
The name of the city is “THE LORD IS THERE.” All who know of it will call it by that name because He indeed is residing there. They are merely stating the obvious. Now, what about us? Since God is living within us, can people readily see that He is in us? Is it obvious? Let’s keep striving that all who know us have no doubt that God is within us. Let His love, and the fruit of His love (Galatians 5:22-23), live in us and be given to all as proof of Him within us and that He loves us, and them. That is giving proper glory to God! Praise God!
Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Micah 6:8 – He has shown You, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.
