It is true that God is love and that He loves you. We all like that. But what does He want from us? The answer to that is also the answer to that great question of mankind, “What is the meaning of life?” The answer is He wants us to embrace His love, given to us in the form of Jesus Christ. When we embrace His love for us it will fill us up and overflow to others. A world that loves God first and also that loves each other, wow, sounds great! That is God’s desire for us. So know and walk in the love of God, know and walk in Jesus. Mark 12:29-31 – 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
