God knows all of history, the present and all the future. Why judge a small piece of time instead of trusting God who knows everything? To trust oneself instead of God is the height of hubris! Be humble and have peace. Trust God!

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

Psalm 91:1-2 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Though it is against our nature, being humble brings peace and being proud brings continual strife.  To be humble we fight only against our own fallen nature.  To be proud we fight the world.  It is better to be humble and trust God, in this is great peace.  James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”  Let God bring favor to you.  It is infinitely better to trust in God than to trust in self.  Let’s unfold our fists, free our hearts and minds and trust God.  Trust God and therein is peace beyond understanding.  Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

God is good all the time and He loves us.  Trust in Him and not in self.  Be humble.  Believe in the work and person of Jesus and there we find deep down peace for our souls.  Let go.  Trust God.  Be at peace.  Praise God!

Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord!

Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

Micah 6:8 – He has shown You, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.
