Devotion Psalm 30:5b Ah, A New Day

Psalm 30:5b – Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning!

Today is a new day. Every day is a new day to hope and rejoice in the love and freedom that God has given us through Jesus our Savior.  May we stop ourselves for a moment, look out the window, and realize our blessings.  God is good all the time and He loves us! Oh let’s rejoice in our blessings.  Though our trials may be strong and they may be feeling too heavy to handle, as we start to count our blessings we find that vastly outnumber the trials and hardships.  Blessings are stronger, and unlike any of our trials, our best blessings are eternal.  No one can steal our memories, and even if someone could, we still have Jesus.  Our highest blessing, eternity with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, can never be stolen from us.  Night covered man for thousands of years but then Jesus came!  Praise God!  We are free and our blessings are eternal.  Of this world, hurts, trials, mistakes, failures, they hurt during the day, but a new day always comes.  Barren lands turn into flowered fields.  Trees become opera palaces for birds.  Darkness is chased away by the sun.   And because of God hope springs eternal in our heart (Psalm 33:20-22).  Family, God is so very good to us and He loves us…all the time!  Let us think about that.  Nothing better!  Praise God!

Psalm 150:6 – Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord!

Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

Micah 6:8 – He has shown You, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.
