Luke 24:6<\/b>\u00a0– He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee<\/i><\/p>\n
1 Corinthians 15:14<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.<\/i><\/p>\n Family, today is a day that most Christians use as a day to acknowledge and celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead.\u00a0 We know that on Friday Jesus was cruelly beaten and largely skinned over his body by use of flesh peeling whips.\u00a0 On Good Friday a crown of long thorns was forced down on His head to mock the fact that He is the King of Kings.\u00a0 His face was spat upon and slugged.\u00a0 Family, He was blindfolded, so the fists struck Him full force without the benefit of preparing for the punch.\u00a0 He was made to carry, on nerve bared shoulders, a heavy, rough wood cross.\u00a0 He had large coarse nails driven through His hands and feet and then the cross He was nailed to was lifted up and it was dropped into place, tearing and stretching the wounds that the nails had made and also rubbing the raw flesh of His back.\u00a0 He hung about upon the cross for hours and then died upon it.\u00a0 As horrible as that was, it was part one of what He would endure because He loved, and loves, all who would come to Him. It was Friday, but a glorious Sunday was coming.\u00a0 His suffering and the Sunday following, were prophesied by God, through prophets of old.<\/span><\/p>\n Part two is that Sunday came and He rose from the dead.\u00a0 This day that both the prophets and Jesus had foretold of had come true!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 Because God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit endured the shame and suffering that Jesus went through (that they all went through), all man now had, and have, an open door, through Jesus, to be pulled out of the condemnation that was upon all (as a result from the sin of our parents Adam and Eve).\u00a0 Because Jesus rose, appeared to many, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father He created a path to live forever in peace with God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Family, if Resurrection Day did not occur, no one would be celebrating the birth of Christ.\u00a0 If what happened between Good Friday and Resurrection Day had not occurred, then the prophecies about Jesus would have been false.\u00a0 He would have been just another false prophet, another false messiah that was buried and rotted in the ground.\u00a0 But He did rise!\u00a0 Praise God Almighty, He did rise!\u00a0 The fact that He lives means that no matter what happens on this world we have the hope of Eternity with Him.\u00a0 If we love and serve Him on this earth, then we will receive all He has promised and live eternity in peace, love and harmony, with Him.\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 God has promised and God will deliver.\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 Family He is risen!\u00a0 Yes He is risen indeed!\u00a0 Praise God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!\u00a0 Happy Resurrection Day, a truly holy day!<\/span><\/p>\n Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.<\/p>\n Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Luke 24:6\u00a0– He is not here; he has risen!
