Revelation 13:11-18<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a011\u00a0Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth.\u00a0It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.\u00a012\u00a0It exercised all the authority\u00a0of the first beast on its behalf,\u00a0and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast,\u00a0whose fatal wound had been healed.\u00a013\u00a0And it performed great signs,\u00a0even causing fire to come down from heaven\u00a0to the earth in full view of the people.\u00a014\u00a0Because of the signs\u00a0it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived\u00a0the inhabitants of the earth.\u00a0It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.\u00a015\u00a0The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship\u00a0the image to be killed.\u00a016\u00a0It also forced all people, great and small,\u00a0rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,17\u00a0so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark,\u00a0which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.\u00a0 18\u00a0This calls for wisdom.\u00a0Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.\u00a0That number is 666.<\/span><\/div>\n

\u201c<\/span>Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth.\u00a0It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 This is the False Prophet.\u00a0 It has horns like a lamb, representing a sacrifice, most likely imitating Christianity.\u00a0 So it looks like Christianity but spews the lies and false teachings of the devil.\u00a0 It seems to be a religion that claims Christianity, but embraces the world.\u00a0 It is a religion that is likely already in place.\u00a0 Remember that the first beast, the Antichrist, comes from the seas that is the masses of the gentiles.\u00a0 This beast rises up from the land, from something familiar, something in place.\u00a0 He comes from a geographical area that is readily identifiable.\u00a0 This beast imitates Christianity, but is a deceiver and is one who has adopted the filthy practices of the world.\u00a0 Thus, he is associated with Christianity, calls himself Christianity, but has polluted himself with the world and speaks lies from the devil.<\/p>\n

Remembering that the first beast, the Antichrist rose from the sea (Gentiles).\u00a0 Now we see a second beast rising from the earth (A specific area).\u00a0 The one who gives power to the Antichrist is Satan (V2<\/b>) and the Antichrist points people to the devil to worship.\u00a0\u00a0 The one who gives power to the False Prophet (second beast) is the Antichrist (V12<\/b>) and the False Prophet points people to the Antichrist.\u00a0 Here we have what is often referred to as the Unholy Trinity.\u00a0 They seek to imitate God to steal the worship of men that only belongs to God.\u00a0 Satan sends and gives power to the Antichrist who in turn glorifies Satan.\u00a0 The Antichrist gives power and sends the False Prophet and the False Prophet glorifies the Antichrist.\u00a0 Behind all this is Satan, seeking what he has always wanted, to be worshiped as God (Isaiah 14:14<\/b>).\u00a0 These three are evil, full of power, and speaking the lies and deceptions of the devil.\u00a0 Family, this is a very bad time on earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt exercised all the authority\u00a0of the first beast on its behalf,\u00a0and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast,\u00a0whose fatal wound had been healed.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 This False Prophet is said to be the counterfeit of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Jesus said the Father would send the Holy Spirit to teach us about Jesus, about the ways of God. The Holy Spirit lifts up Jesus and Jesus points people to the Father God to exalt and praise Him.\u00a0 The False Prophet spreads blasphemies in praise of the Antichrist and the Antichrist spreads blasphemies to exalt Satan.\u00a0\u00a0 As previously stated, the Antichrist is a weak counterfeit of Jesus and the False Prophet is a pathetic counterfeit of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Family, the evil that we simultaneously despised and dreaded has shown up in the world to work its evil as fast as it can.\u00a0 It\u2019s time is short (Revelation 12:2<\/b>).\u00a0 Woe to the world who would not give their lives over to Jesus.\u00a0 They will find out that He came to save the condemned, but they refuse the salvation He offered and so they remained in their condemnation.<\/p>\n

As we have previously reviewed\u00a0Zechariah 11:17\u00a0<\/b>gives more specifics in what are the mortal wounds the Antichrist will receive.\u00a0 His recovery, or resurrection, is a great deceit that will overtake most of the earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it performed great signs,\u00a0even causing fire to come down from heaven\u00a0to the earth in full view of the people.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 It is the False Prophet, under the power and authority of the Antichrist, who gives supernatural signs to deceive people into worshiping the Antichrist.\u00a0 He even calls fire down from heaven.\u00a0 This seems to verify that the False Prophet is a counterfeit of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Jesus, who set aside the power and rights of His divinity to come to earth to die for us (Philippians 2:6-8<\/b>), clearly pointed to His empowerment by the Holy Spirit to perform His signs and wonders (Matthew 12:28, Luke 4:14, Luke 10:21<\/b>).\u00a0 Jesus showed signs and wonders to show that He was indeed the Messiah from God the Father and then the Holy Spirit worked miracles and healings through the disciples of Jesus to glorify and prove that the disciples were of God.\u00a0 The False Prophet may be trying imitate the Holy Spirit, but He is a cheap imitation.\u00a0 The False Prophet is a created being.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is God.\u00a0 The Antichrist is limited and derives his authority and power from another.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is an equal part of who God is and is inherently possessed with authority and power.\u00a0 End of conversation.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause of the signs\u00a0it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived\u00a0the inhabitants of the earth.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 Through supernatural works the False Prophet lifts up the Antichrist and Satan and thereby deceived the \u201cinhabitants of the earth.\u201d\u00a0 Everyone, this will be powerful.\u00a0 For those who want to wait and see before committing their lives to the Lord, well, if one doesn\u2019t have the wisdom and strength to come to the Lord now, when it is easy, the likelihood of coming to the Lord then (if still alive) will be very slim.\u00a0 Now is the day of salvation.\u00a0 Now it is just a matter of humbling oneself and acknowledging the need for Savior Jesus.\u00a0 But then the powerful lies and deceptions will be hard to overcome.\u00a0 To those who want to be saved, to those who want others to be saved with them, today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2<\/b>). \u00a0Come while you can and then bring the message to all you love.\u00a0 All the saints pray for you, and yours.<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
