It seems like nothing peaks our interest like a secret.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\">Sometimes, like in\u00a0<b>Revelation 10:4<\/b>, God does not reveal some things to us.\u00a0 In fact, God does not tell us a lot of things.\u00a0 Often what He does not tell us is the why, or the how.\u00a0 How has God always existed?\u00a0 How can we perfectly and completely understand why, what and how the Trinity is? \u00a0Why did a church filled with Christians get wiped out by a tornado? \u00a0Recently a person in a Rooted class posed the question \u201cWhy did God make man?\u201d\u00a0 She ended up providing a possible answer that made all the class say \u201cOh, I like that!\u201d\u00a0 What she proposed is that it is liking asking why parents want children.\u00a0 Wow, that was awesome and I thought it was one of the best answers to that I had ever heard!\u00a0 See, what makes the answer hard is that we focus on the baby (us) rather than on the parents (God).\u00a0 God loved us before the foundation of the earth.\u00a0 We don\u2019t know the absolute complete answer, but we do know that it has to do with love.\u00a0 However, as grand as her response is, and it as good a response as I have ever heard, still, it is a supposition.\u00a0 We just don\u2019t know the reason, at least we don\u2019t know the entire reason. Perhaps the reason does have more to do with who He is than who we are.\u00a0 God is love. His love is proactive.\u00a0 In His mind, His perfect mind, He made whom He knew He would love.\u00a0 Perhaps that was enough.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\">Back to the point, God does not tell us everything.\u00a0 In the above verse in Deuteronomy we see that there are an infinite amount of things God has not told us.\u00a0 He made that decision.\u00a0 Now, we need to control our curiosity.\u00a0 \u00a0It is okay to be curios.\u00a0 That is how God made us.\u00a0 However, when it comes to some of the things of God, we need to stop surmising and just accept that God has not told us all things.\u00a0 If God has not told us, we just don\u2019t need to know.\u00a0 However, what He has told us is more than can we can know.\u00a0 Family, let us exhaust what He has revealed to us in His Word, and then we can ponder what He has not told us.\u00a0 Of course, we will never fully understand all He has given us in His Word before He we will be with Him.\u00a0 Perhaps He will tell us then.\u00a0 But for now, we have all need to know in His Word.\u00a0 What is not there, we don\u2019t now need to know.\u00a0 To question that is to question God.\u00a0 We know that God knows infinitely more than we know (<b>Isaiah 55:<\/b>9) so who are we to question whether or not He should have told us more than He did.\u00a0 Who are we to say to God that He should not have left something out?\u00a0 That would be a lack of faith in His perfect knowledge and since it is a lack of faith in Him, it would be sin (<b>Romans 14:23<\/b>).\u00a0 Family the verse in\u00a0<b>Deuteronomy 29:29<\/b>\u00a0states that the secret things of God belong to Him and that the revealed things belong to us.\u00a0 What He has revealed to us, what is in the Word of God and what He continues to reveal to us individually, and corporally, how the Word of God applies to every portion of our life, is where He wants our thoughts and what most benefits us to think about.\u00a0 He is saying to consider what He has given us to consider and to trust Him concerning the things He has not revealed.\u00a0 Now the Word is a finite number of words but the knowledge and wisdom of them are infinite.\u00a0 Let us think about those things.\u00a0 In heeding this admonition is great peace and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNormal\">In\u00a0<b>Psalm 131<\/b>\u00a0King David says that He is not proud and so he will not look at, or into, matters that are beyond him and not meant for him.\u00a0 He will consider what God has given Him and that in itself is an endless pursuit.\u00a0 In this He is calmed and quieted.\u00a0 He is a peace.\u00a0 He is like a child full of mother\u2019s milk, at peace and at rest.\u00a0 So we, who consume what God has given us (His Word) by His precious Holy Spirit, and we rest in His love and in His arms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNormal\"><b>2 Timothy 2:23<\/b>\u00a0tells us not to let foolish, okay, let\u2019s say it, stupid arguments consume us.\u00a0 \u201cIf God can do anything, can He build a rock so big he cannot pick it up?\u201d\u00a0 Stupid.\u00a0 Just creates arguments and is of no profit.\u00a0 Why not ask me if I feel like killing my beloved mother?\u00a0 Just as stupid.\u00a0 Just as inane.\u00a0 Just as not worthy of my time to even consider.\u00a0 Family, if people have legitimate questions with honest intentions, let\u2019s talk.\u00a0 However, we need not argue over stupid things. Let us rest in the peace of what God has given us.\u00a0 Honest questions are good.\u00a0 Foolish questions should not be avoided.\u00a0 Perhaps, we should, before we respond, ask the person who brings us such a silly question \u201cWhat if God, who knows that you reject Him and never will accept Him, and since He can do anything and no one can resist Him, made this question up so that people who don\u2019t love him or want to know Him, will keep themselves occupied with silly questions such as these?\u00a0 Is that possible?\u00a0 If it is, what does it mean?\u201d \u00a0If they figure out the answer to that, they will be better benefited.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\"><b>Matthew 11:28-<\/b>30 \u201c\u201c<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Come to me,\u00a0all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.\u00a029\u00a0Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,\u00a0for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.\u00a030\u00a0For my yoke is easy and my burden is light<\/span>.\u201d\u201d\u00a0 Let us pursue what God has given us to pursue.\u00a0 Let us turn aside and not consider what God has not given us to pursue.\u00a0 Let\u2019s trust God and grow in the knowledge He wants us to have.\u00a0 In that is freedom, peace and rest.\u00a0 Family, let us rest in God.\u00a0 It is a good place to be!\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\"><b>Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\"><b>Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv4451739131ydp7327de2MsoNoSpacing\"><b>Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p
