Psalm 115:1\u00a0<\/b>–\u00a0Not to us,\u00a0Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a response to God that rings in the heart of all who know and love the Lord (Psalm 29:1-2<\/b>).\u00a0 All who know and love the Lord know that it is the hand of God behind all the good that mankind may know and experience (James 1:17<\/b>).\u00a0 God created all of creation (Colossians 1:16<\/b>). Even before mankind was created God had him in mind as he formed the earth (Ephesians 1:4-6<\/b>).\u00a0 Our Omniscient God knew that He would give the earth to mankind (Psalm 115:16, Genesis 1:26-30<\/b>).\u00a0 God\u2019s children know that He is God and there are no others (1 Corinthians 8:6<\/b>). He is the creator and keeper (Colossians 1:16-17<\/b>).\u00a0 All things belong to Him (Hebrews 2:10<\/b>). \u00a0All good gifts are from Him.\u00a0 Pride in man is a detestable thing to God (1 Peter 5:5-7, James 4:6<\/b>).\u00a0 The evil of worldly pride is a lie, it is a boast based on a lie.\u00a0 It is a lie that man can, in and of himself, create.\u00a0 Man cannot create without having been blessed by God to do so.\u00a0 So anything man creates comes from the fact that God blessed him to be able to be creative.\u00a0 Man is able to think only because God created him able to do so.\u00a0 Man lives only because God created him (Genesis 1:27<\/b>).\u00a0\u00a0 God created all that is created including the heavens, the earth, all that lives on the earth, including mankind.\u00a0 And man can exist, continue to exist, and do all that he can do only as God has enabled him to do so.<\/p>\n

So the redeemed of the Lord want no glory, but give glory, in all things, to the Lord God.\u00a0 God shares His glory with no man (Isaiah 42:8<\/b>), but man benefits from His glory and all that He is.\u00a0 Man benefits from God because God loves us.\u00a0 So as we ascribe glory, we must always remember that the ultimate glory goes to God.\u00a0 It goes to God because He loves us and is faithful to us.\u00a0 Never does He not love us and never is He not faithfully watch over us (Deuteronomy 7:9, Psalm 86:15<\/b>).<\/p>\n

To God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit be all glory, praise and honor!\u00a0 All who love Him say so because they know His works, because they know His love, mercy and kindness, and because the know Him.\u00a0 Yes, the children of God know their Father!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 We are blessed and God has it all in control.\u00a0 Praise our God who knows all and has it all in control\u2026forever.\u00a0 All is all.\u00a0 Forever is forever.\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
