Revelation 6:1-2<\/b>\u00a0– I watched as the Lamb\u00a0opened the first of the seven seals.\u00a0Then I heard one of the four living creatures\u00a0say in a voice like thunder,\u00a0\u201cCome!\u201d\u00a02\u00a0I looked, and there before me was a white horse!\u00a0Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,\u00a0and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In\u00a0Revelation 1:19\u00a0<\/b>John was told to \u201cWrite, therefore, what you have seen,\u00a0what is now and what will take place later.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 We now move to the \u201cwhat will take place later.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI looked<\/span>,\u201d\u00a0 John did as he was told in\u00a0V1<\/b>.\u00a0 He looked to perceive and subsequently report.<\/p>\n

\u201cand there before me was a white horse!<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 The white horse has caused confusion.\u00a0 Some have taken the white horse to refer to its rider as Jesus because the rider on the white horse mentioned in\u00a0Revelation 19:11<\/b>\u00a0is clearly described as Jesus.\u00a0 As we look at the verses following\u00a0V19:11<\/b>\u00a0we see that Jesus is clearly being described there.\u00a0 However, here in\u00a0V2<\/b>\u00a0we can clearly identify the rider of this white horse as not being Jesus.\u00a0 The rider of the white horse is the first of the four horsemen commonly identified as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.\u00a0 This first horseman is not Jesus.\u00a0 See how he is described.\u00a0 He rode out to conquer.\u00a0 Jesus has already conquered.\u00a0 All His work is, as He proclaimed from the cross, is finished.\u00a0 This rider is a fake, a counterfeit of Jesus meant to deceive and conquer the world.\u00a0 The white horse is meant to fool people who would not follow the rider on the white horse who is identified in chapter 19.\u00a0 The white horse is part of the deception of the Antichrist to lull people to let down their objections and arms and to follow him to a one world government of world peace. The peace is temporary and false.\u00a0 Hate of God, and mankind, is behind it all.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts rider held a bow<\/span>,\u201d The bow is usually understood that the rider has a bow for shooting arrows.\u00a0 Remember all these are symbols.\u00a0 Notice that the rider is not mentioned as carrying arrows with the bow.\u00a0 That is because the rider will set out to be ruler of the world, not by war, but by words and making peace among the nations.\u00a0 His bow is empty, but he is the most dangerous and deceptive man that had ever lived.\u00a0 He is the devil\u2019s man.\u00a0 He comes to deceive those who would not embrace the Truth.\u00a0 This group will include most of the world.\u00a0 Just as right now most of the world rejects the grace of God that comes through Jesus.<\/p>\n

\u201cand he was given a crown\u2026<\/span>\u201d The Greek word used here is \u201cstephanos\u201d (transliteration). It is not \u201cdiadem\u201d which is a permanent crown.\u00a0 The stephanos was a wreath mad of olive branches that lasted only a short while.\u00a0 This man is an imposter and he will, in due time be exposed.\u00a0 He serves a purpose.\u00a0 Those who have not served God will flock to this man and serve him.\u00a0 He will have their allegiance. \u00a0Thusly these are self-identified as those who reject God.\u00a0 His followers will be those who now follow the leading of the bulk of the people who now live and believe, in their rebellion against God, that they have \u201csafety in numbers.\u201d\u00a0 They will follow the Antichrist and suffer the same fate as their leader.\u00a0 They will follow him, by their own choice, to where he is going.\u00a0 Where he is going to, and will forever stay, is the lake of fire.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cand he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 Again, he wants to finish what his father started.\u00a0 His father, in the Garden of Eden, manipulated Adam by deceiving Eve and stole the title to earth.\u00a0 That was the first Adam.\u00a0 The second Adam is Jesus.\u00a0 Jesus has already defeated the devil and all who are allied with him.\u00a0 Jesus has and will take back the title deed and rule and reign over earth.\u00a0 The Antichrist is out to rule the world and give it back to his father the devil. \u00a0He will deceive the world.\u00a0 He will be seen as a peaceful and loving man.\u00a0 We know that He does not love mankind.\u00a0 He is one with his father the Devil.\u00a0 He hates mankind and only wants to conquer them and to make sure that all that all who follow him will never live their eternity with Jesus. But the rule of the world has already been determined by the perfect life, the suffering, the death and the resurrection of Jesus.\u00a0 Jesus has overcome the world! (John 16:33<\/b>)\u00a0 Praise God! \u00a0We have already been eternally united with God!\u00a0 God wins!\u00a0 Jesus has won!<\/p>\n

Family, as we progress through Revelation we will read of terrifying things coming to the world.\u00a0 But not terrifying to us.\u00a0 Jesus will remain Lord of lords and King of kings (Revelation 17:14<\/b>) and He is able to keep all who put their faith in Him.\u00a0 He has kept all who have believed in Him, is keeping all who do believe in Him, and will keep all who will come to Him during the tribulation period.\u00a0 God remains supreme.\u00a0 But for all those we know and love that do not know Jesus as the Savior and Lord, the time for them to humble themselves before the Lord is now.\u00a0 During the time the Antichrist is on earth, the temptation to resist the Lord will be immensely greater (Mark 13:22<\/b>).\u00a0 Still, many will come to the Lord during this time.\u00a0 For us that serve the Lord, we need not fear.\u00a0 Jesus will keep us as He promised.\u00a0 We can be sure of that!\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0– But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
