Revelation 6:1-2<\/b>\u00a0– I watched as the Lamb\u00a0opened the first of the seven seals.\u00a0Then I heard one of the four living creatures\u00a0say in a voice like thunder,\u00a0\u201cCome!\u201d\u00a02\u00a0I looked, and there before me was a white horse!\u00a0Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,\u00a0and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0Revelation 1:19\u00a0<\/b>John was told to \u201cWrite, therefore, what you have seen,\u00a0what is now and what will take place later.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 We now move to the \u201cwhat will take place later.\u201d<\/p>\n

First let us look back to\u00a0Revelation 5:9-10\u00a0<\/b>\u201cAnd they sang a new song, saying: \u201cYou are worthy\u00a0to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood\u00a0you purchased\u00a0for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10\u00a0You have made them to be a kingdom and priests\u00a0to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.<\/span>\u201d\u201d\u00a0 The above is from the NIV.\u00a0 The ESV is similar, using \u201cransomed\u201d rather than purchased.\u00a0 However, notice that the NKJV translates what the NIV translates \u201c<\/span>because you were slain, and with your blood\u00a0you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation<\/span>\u201d as \u201cFor You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 Let\u2019s focus in on what NKJV translates \u201chave redeemed us to God<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0 The NIV and ESV translation translations leave out the very personal \u201cus.\u201d\u00a0 While I am not being critical of the NIV and ESV (I am not qualified to be so) it does cause wonder if the \u201cus\u201d in the NKJV version should be in there.\u00a0 So, checking I find that word h\u0113mas (transliteration), meaning \u201cus, we, our\u201d is in the original language.\u00a0 This \u201cus\u201d is a big thing.\u00a0 If we use the NKJV, with the \u201cus\u201d in there it sheds a deeper light into an important meaning.\u00a0 Looking at the NKJV\u00a0Revelation 5:9-10\u00a0<\/b>it reads \u201c\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>And they sang\u00a0a new song, saying, \u201cWorthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for\u00a0you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from\u00a0every tribe and language and people and nation, 10\u00a0and you have made them\u00a0a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth<\/span>.\u201d\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Reading the NIV and ESV,\u00a0Revelation 5:8\u00a0<\/b>seems to bring us to believe that the \u201cthey\u201d of\u00a0V9\u00a0<\/b>should be interpreted as the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders as the ones who are singing the \u201cnew song.\u201d\u00a0 The NIV and ESV seems to lead us that four living creatures and the twenty-four elders are singing about what Jesus has done for the church, but one may gather that the these two groups are singing about a separate group that is not present (except of course, that the twenty-four elders would also be part of that group). The us would not include the four living creatures because they are angelic beings who have no need for redemption.\u00a0\u00a0 So the four living creatures would not sing this new song.\u00a0 So, we should not gather from\u00a0V8<\/b>\u00a0that included with those singing the new song are the four living creatures.\u00a0 So then, who is this group that is singing the new song?\u00a0 By staying with the NKJV that includes the \u201cus,\u201d it is clear who is singing the new song. What group of people have been redeemed by the slain blood of Jesus?\u00a0 What redeemed group has come from every language?\u00a0\u00a0 Whom has the Lamb of God made to be priests and kings to or God?\u00a0 Whom shall reign with Jesus?\u00a0 Of course, that is the Body of Christ, it is only, yes only, the Bride of Christ that can sing this song (Romans 5:9, Revelation 12:11, John 3:15, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 2:9<\/b>).\u00a0 None other can.\u00a0 This is vitally important in our understanding of End Times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where was John transported to be given this revelation?\u00a0 It was the throne room of God.\u00a0 He is among angels, He is in the presence of God.\u00a0 Where is this \u201cnew song\u201d being sung?\u00a0 It is in heaven.\u00a0 So if this song is being sung in heaven, then those singing it are in heaven.\u00a0 So the Bride of Christ is in heaven at this point in time.\u00a0 What point in time is then being related?\u00a0 The next verses, 3 and 4, we see that the second seal broken and the end times horrors are now being set loose.\u00a0 The time of the greatest tribulation the world has even seen is next being loosed upon the earth.\u00a0 Before the second seal is broken, we see from\u00a0Revelation 5:9-10\u00a0<\/b>that we, the Bride of Christ, are safe in heaven. Praise the Lord!<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cus\u201d in\u00a0Revelation 5:9-10<\/b>\u00a0is vital.\u00a0 It shows where the Body of Christ is before the horrors, before the second seal is broken.\u00a0 Family, we are in heaven. At this time, I want to note that I believe in pre-tribulation rapture.\u00a0 This verse is but one that backs up what I believe. But I want to say that there are many good brothers and sisters who believe that the church is raptured at a later date.\u00a0 I love and respect them, I just don\u2019t share that opinion.\u00a0 What is written above is part of why I have the opinion that I do. Also, please remember that what is being sent out in these emails is from my morning devotion time.\u00a0 That is all.\u00a0 So I am not going to thoroughly look at the doctrine of pre, mid, or post tribulation rapture.\u00a0 We are only traveling through the book of Revelationy.\u00a0 What comes will come naturally as progression is made through the book.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>I watched as the Lamb\u00a0opened the first of the seven seals.\u00a0Then I heard one of the four living creatures\u00a0say in a voice like thunder,\u00a0\u201cCome!<\/span>\u201d\u201d The Lamb of God, Jesus, opens the first seal.\u00a0 Immediately afterward one of the four creatures says in a thunderous voice \u201cCome!\u201d\u00a0 Again NKJV includes an additional command that is in the original language.\u00a0 NKJV translates \u201cCome and see.\u201d\u00a0 The \u201csee\u201d is important. \u00a0If the booming command just said \u201cCome\u201d then it would be easy to think that the command is to the horse and rider of the next verse.\u00a0 If the better translation is \u201cCome and see,\u201d then the command would be to John.\u00a0 \u201cCome and see\u201d is more appropriate as we see, that John did indeed come and look, as commanded.<\/p>\n

\u201cSee<\/span>\u201d has more meaning then a casual observer.\u00a0 John is being told to see, experience and understand what is happening.\u00a0 We are wise to spiritually see what is being revealed and to allow the Spirit of God to bring understanding to us.<\/p>\n

Family, as so many of our hymns and songs relate, and of course, as the Word of God tells us, we are loved and protected by God.\u00a0 We see that God protects us from the worst seven years in the history of mankind.\u00a0 Years so bad that if God did not step in and cut it short, it would be the end of all life on earth (Matthew 24:22<\/b>).\u00a0 That does not mean that Christians should expect an \u201cout\u201d to End Times trouble.\u00a0 We must consider that we are in the End Times.\u00a0\u00a0 The times of woe that is being described in the book of Revelation will not suddenly happen without a leading up to it.\u00a0 The times will not go from wonderful to horrible.\u00a0 There is a time when commitment to God that weakens among many (Matthew 24:10, 1 Timothy 4:1, Matthew 24:11, 2 Timothy 4:3-4<\/b>).\u00a0 The world, though always opposed to us, will become more bold in their opposition to Lord and His saints. Expect persecution to increase.\u00a0 Expect that the Church of Jesus Christ will increasingly become anathema to unsaved world (Matthew 24:9<\/b>).\u00a0 Their \u201clive and let live\u201d motto that the world falsely espouses as their own, will have the cover of the lie pulled back as the hatred for the church will grow.\u00a0 The world will no longer allow, without repercussions, the church to believe the Word of God that calls their immoral life styles sin (2 Timothy 4:3<\/b>).\u00a0 We know the Lord told us we will have tribulation on earth (John 16:33<\/b>).\u00a0 We know that the Word of God states that a time will come when those who have Christians killed will actually think that they are doing a thing that is pleasing to God (John 16:2<\/b>).\u00a0 Yet, we are not afraid!\u00a0 The same God who loves, protects, provides and keeps us now, is the same God who will be loving, protecting, providing and keeping us then.\u00a0 The Word of God guaranteed us that He is good and that He loves us (Psalm 34:8, 1 John 4:16<\/b>).\u00a0 That will never change.\u00a0 Circumstances and times do not dictate truth.\u00a0 Truth is God and His Word.\u00a0\u00a0 Let us commit to knowing beyond all other things that God is good and that He loves us.\u00a0 Let us be saturated by His Word so that when the end times come the Holy Spirit will bring the Word alive us and we shall be sustained.\u00a0 We are not alone, and we never shall be.\u00a0 Jesus promised us that (Matthew 28:20<\/b>).\u00a0 But Family, let us not deceive ourselves, we shall go through increasingly hard times to be a Christian.\u00a0 Christians never have had a pass from tribulations, small and big.\u00a0 The first century Christians endured great persecution and trials and so will the End Times Christians.\u00a0 But it is not by our might or power that we are sustained, it is wholly by our God\u00a0Zechariah 4:6<\/b>.\u00a0 He will keep us.\u00a0 Let\u2019s keep our eyes on Him and remember EGBOK\u2026Everythings Gonna Be Okay for us.\u00a0 Why is that so, because God says so!\u00a0 Amen and amen!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0– But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
