Psalm 95:6-7\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Come, let us bow down\u00a0in worship, let us kneel\u00a0before the\u00a0Lord\u00a0our Maker;\u00a0for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.<\/span><\/p>\n

Family, let\u2019s, in the Spirit, all of us stop and do what this Psalm invites us to do.\u00a0 We are all busy.\u00a0 We have jobs to go to.\u00a0 We have familial responsibilities.\u00a0 Most importantly, we are God\u2019s children.\u00a0 And it is not as though God did not pay a big price to free us to be His children.\u00a0 He has loved us with a love that is palpable and so very tender and dear.\u00a0 So, as children of God let\u2019s consider time with our Father the most important thing we can do today.\u00a0 Let us not be deceived.\u00a0 There is nothing more important than stopping, and being with Him.\u00a0 Not a \u201cHi Dad, love you, got lots to do, see you later\u201d and out the door.\u00a0 But a stop, look into the eyes of He who suffered as Jesus paid the price for our sins.\u00a0 He took us, who were not a family, and made us His family.\u00a0 He saw us wandering the streets and invited us in for a warm meal and drink.\u00a0 We came, drawn by His love and kindness, and ate at His table.\u00a0 He spoke to us and blessed us with understanding that we might accept His offer for us to live forever with Him.\u00a0 I remember the eyes I could not physically see, but nevertheless knew were looking on me with love and kindness.\u00a0 We still see those eyes.\u00a0 We see them with the eyes of our spirits and our souls.\u00a0 God, so good, so kind, so loving to us.<\/p>\n

Let us bow our spirits and worship the God who loves us, who called us off the streets and made us His very own children.\u00a0 He who has knit us together and loves us and enjoys who we are with pure, unadulterated joy.\u00a0 Family, He loves us as His family.\u00a0 And He tenderly loves us individually.\u00a0 Right now feel His gaze of love upon you.\u00a0 It is upon you and upon me.\u00a0 Singularly.\u00a0 How wonderful is His love for us!<\/p>\n

Let us bow down and worship.\u00a0 Let our hearts kneel before our God, our Maker, and our Savior for all that He has done for us.\u00a0 Yes, stop and think about all we have to be grateful for.\u00a0 Everything. \u00a0Think about it.\u00a0 Start with our salvation and then to the endless list of reasons to bow before Him and honor Him.<\/p>\n

God Almighty, Creator and Savior, Lover of our souls, Tender soother to all our hurts, The Only one who Heals both body and soul, calls us His people.\u00a0 We are His people.\u00a0 Yes, us!\u00a0 Though none of us deserve that honor, He has called us and made it so.\u00a0 We are His flock.\u00a0 We are likened to sheep and He is our Shepherd.\u00a0 We like Israel, so often seem more like a herd of feral cats than a flock of sheep.\u00a0 All wanting to run our own way and not wanting to stop, really stop, and just spend time with Him to receive His love and offer ours to Him.<\/p>\n

Family, \u201cCome, let us bow down\u00a0in worship, let us kneel\u00a0before the\u00a0Lord\u00a0our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0 What this verse calls us to is an eternal call of those who truly love God and are thankful to Him. Let us be wise and never cease to follow this admonition.\u00a0 He is always desirous for us to stop in and say \u201cHey Daddy, can we talk?\u201d\u00a0 Always\u2026praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/strong>\u00a0– But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/span><\/p>\n
