1 Psalm 46:10 <\/strong>\u2013\u00a0He says, \u201cBe\u00a0still,\u00a0and\u00a0know\u00a0that I am God; I will\u00a0be exalted among the nations, I will\u00a0be\u00a0exalted in the earth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

God being exalted in a nation, on the earth, begins when He is exalted in the heart and in the mind of His people.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe\u00a0still,\u00a0and\u00a0know\u00a0that I am God<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0 Today let us remember to purposely take the time to stop the busyness of life.\u00a0 To be set away from all that is on our mind, or that clutters our minds.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take time aside from loved ones and ones who depend on us.\u00a0 Let just set aside time for God and let no-one interrupt our time with Him.\u00a0 When we do, let us stop and consider a couple of things.\u00a0 First, how wonderful, how almighty, how infinite, how wise, how loving and how giving He is.\u00a0 The more we know Him the more we appreciate these qualities.\u00a0 Still, whether we are just beginning in our intimate knowledge of Him, or if we have been walking with Him many years, we all need to stop and consider.\u00a0 Yes, need.\u00a0 For our salvation, or course, we need to consider who our God is and what He has done for us through Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Also for our peace, our joy and our knowledge of the security He gives, we need to stop, be still and consider who our God is.\u00a0 After all, our faith is not in ourselves, or in any one or anything but God through Jesus our Lord.<\/p>\n

Then be thankful for all the ways He has blessed.\u00a0 Most likely, we are so abundantly blessed we cannot even recount all the ways we are blessed. It is endless.\u00a0 But do thank Him.\u00a0 Do your best to remember, and to think of, all the ways God has blessed.<\/p>\n

Let us be still.\u00a0 Yes, praise God.\u00a0 Yes, thank God.\u00a0 But then let us say, as Samuel the prophet, when a child, did.\u00a0 Let us say \u201cSpeak, for Your servant is listening<\/span>\u201d 1 Samuel 3:10<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Then, stop talking.\u00a0 Just listen.\u00a0 Listen for His words of love.\u00a0 Listen for His direction.\u00a0 Listen for Him to tell who He says we are, individually.\u00a0 It is more important to know who He says we are than to know who we think we are.\u00a0 A person may not hear the first time, or the second, or\u2026\u00a0 But don\u2019t give up.\u00a0 Be quiet, still the mind, and listen.\u00a0 Christians, what if you don\u2019t hear Him the first, or every time, just enjoy His presence.\u00a0 Be still, and be in awe of the presence of God.\u00a0 Experience the joy of the presence of God.\u00a0 Let His presence, His Spirit, calm and free the soul.<\/p>\n

Be still and be expectant.\u00a0 Expect to be in the presence of God.\u00a0 It is enough.\u00a0 It is more than enough.\u00a0 It can be very overwhelming.\u00a0\u00a0 Spiritually, take off your shoes, relax, and be aware of His presence and love.\u00a0 Nothing is better than being in His presence.<\/p>\n

Today, be still and know that He is God.\u00a0 Every day, throughout every day, practice clearing out the mind, and being in His presence.\u00a0 He will meet you there.\u00a0 He is there now waiting.\u00a0 Your Father wants to spend time with you.\u00a0 He loves you.\u00a0 Be still before God and be blessed.\u00a0 Oh the great joy and peace in the presence of God.\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/strong>\u00a0– But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
