Everything, every blessing I have,<\/p>\n
Comes from You.<\/p>\n
I am from the dirt of the ground.<\/p>\n
My existence would have never began,<\/p>\n
I would have never walked this earth,<\/p>\n
Without Your intention for me to do so.<\/p>\n
If not for You, I am empty.<\/p>\n
My soul cries out to You,<\/p>\n
Yet even my soul is a gift from You.<\/p>\n
Everything, all things of me and about me,<\/p>\n
Are from You.<\/p>\n
Have I not heard,<\/p>\n
Do I not know,<\/p>\n
Daily shall I not consider,<\/p>\n
How much of nothing I am?<\/p>\n
In this knowledge,<\/p>\n
I am grateful,<\/p>\n
Peace comes in this knowledge.<\/p>\n
Oh how helpless I am!<\/p>\n
Indeed I am a worm,<\/p>\n
A creation of Yours,<\/p>\n
Unable to protect myself,<\/p>\n
Solely dependent on You for sustenance.<\/p>\n

Only You Lord,<\/p>\n

In the morning,<\/p>\n
As I awaken from slumber,<\/p>\n
Just as when You created me,<\/p>\n
I awake to You.<\/p>\n
You are present as I open my eyes,<\/p>\n
When the midday suns shines on me,<\/p>\n
You warm me from within.<\/p>\n
Before I sleep,<\/p>\n
It is You who brings comfort and peace,<\/p>\n
Always it is You.<\/p>\n

Solely dependent on You.<\/p>\n
It matters not my circumstance,<\/p>\n
I am in a desperate place,<\/p>\n
It is where I want to be,<\/p>\n

Ever may I live in desperation for You!<\/p>\n
Ever may Your praise flow from my lips,<\/p>\n
Your glory to glory revealed moment by moment,<\/p>\n
In a total awareness of my desperate condition,<\/p>\n

Living in your strength,<\/p>\n
