John 5:24<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0\u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and\u00a0believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and\u00a0does not come into judgment, but has\u00a0passed out of death into life.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
A long, long time ago, at the beginning of time for all mankind, when the earth was still new, the first man and woman committed a terrible sin. (Genesis 3:1-13<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0It was so terrible that it meant that the only payment for their crime was their physical and worse, their spiritual death. (Genesis 2:17<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0Because of their terrible crime they had to leave their beautiful home where life was easy, peaceful, fun, and beautiful. (Genesis 3:23-24<\/b>) They had to live what was the rest of their lives in a place where life would be hard and fearful.\u00a0\u00a0There they had to await their death that had immediately begun to overtake them. They were very sad because there seemed to be no hope for them. (Ephesians 2:1<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0There was no payment they could ever make that would remove this death sentence from them.\u00a0\u00a0(Ephesians 2:8-9<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0It was very sad.\u00a0\u00a0But God had given them a clue for hope.\u00a0\u00a0(Genesis 3:15b<\/b>) At the right time, the One who loved them most did something very powerful to save them. (Romans 5:6<\/b>) Since death was the sentence for their sin, only the giver of life could buy life back for the man and the woman.\u00a0\u00a0(Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5<\/b>) So, because of His great love Jesus, the perfect one, gave up His life, so that the imperfect ones (us), could live again.\u00a0\u00a0(Luke 19:10, Romans 4:25<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0So redemption is God Himself, who loves all of us, buying back life for all of us, who were hopelessly dead and buried in sin. (Romans 6:4<\/b>) Simply, God Himself is our only redemption, and He never fails.\u00a0\u00a0(John 14:6<\/b>) The redemption is a free gift from God. Have you accepted your gift? If not, Jesus is holding it for you, why not pick it up?<\/p>\n
Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n
