Hebrews 10:23\u00a0<\/b>–\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>\u00a0<\/sup><\/b><\/span>Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;<\/i><\/p>\n

Hebrews 3:14<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end.<\/i><\/p>\n

Most, if not all of us, have been told at sometime, or several times, to \u201chold on\u201d or \u201chang in there.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0When I was a teenager I remember I was gifted a poster with a kitten hanging on by its fingernails with the caption \u201cJust hang in there.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0I thought why would someone give me this. I thought that it was an insult because I thought I was strong.\u00a0\u00a0At that time I didn\u2019t even like cats.\u00a0\u00a0Later on, during hard times, it became very valuable to me.<\/p>\n

After coming to know Jesus as my Savior and Lord, God, through the Holy Spirit, and the Word, kept me hanging on.\u00a0\u00a0I knew I would never let go of the Lord because I knew, beyond all doubt, that He would never let go of me.\u00a0\u00a0(John 10:28<\/b>,\u00a0John 5:5-8<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0After all these years I have never let go of the Lord. Sometimes I would hang on to the Lord\u2019s coattails, other times I would hang on to a thread of His coattails, but I hung on with everything I could. Sometimes it seemed such a struggle. Then I learned, that though I knew I was saved by faith, that I need not battle with my strength to continue on.\u00a0\u00a0My strength would not do, it could not do.\u00a0\u00a0I had to be saved and kept by His strength.\u00a0\u00a0Suddenly grasping and holding on to Him was easy.\u00a0\u00a0Easy because I knew that even if my grasp should fail, His would not.\u00a0\u00a0We love Him who first loved us.\u00a0\u00a0(1 John 4:19<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0We cling to Him who first grasped us.\u00a0\u00a0God is good all the time and He loves us.\u00a0\u00a0Everyone, please, hang in there!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will Hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has\u00a0shown you, Oh man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; and what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of you, but\u00a0to do justly, to love\u00a0mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.<\/i><\/p>\n
