2 Corinthians 12:9-10<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/b><\/span>And He has said to me,\u00a0\u201cMy grace is sufficient for you, for\u00a0power is perfected in weakness.\u201d\u00a0Most gladly, therefore, I will rather\u00a0boast\u00a0[c<\/a>]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.\u00a010\u00a0Therefore\u00a0I delight in weaknesses, in\u00a0insults, in\u00a0distresses, in\u00a0persecutions, in\u00a0difficulties,\u00a0in behalf of Christ; for\u00a0when I am weak, then I am strong.<\/i><\/p>\n

Although I do say it sometimes, for those who may not have the same frame of thought, and sometimes out of habit, I do say \u201cGod bless you.\u201d But often I hesitate to say God bless you, especially to mature Christians because they already know that God blesses them. This doesn’t negate praying for specific needs, but at times in the past I have said God bless you and saints will say \u201cI know He does.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0And we do know that.\u00a0\u00a0Besides, God does not need me to ask Him to do what we know He already continuously does.\u00a0\u00a0I expect God to bless you because His Word says He does and that is all I need.\u00a0\u00a0Also because I intimately know Him and who He is and I know how greatly He blesses me and cares for me, and since I am no more special to Him than anyone else, He obviously is blessing those who also love and serve Him.\u00a0\u00a0And not to our surprise the people of the world.\u00a0\u00a0(Matthew 5:45<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0It is who He is.<\/p>\n

My email \u201csign off\u201d says not \u201cGod bless you,\u201d but \u201cMay we perpetually walk in the awareness of His presence with us.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0The question is not if God blesses but rather are aware of and do we understand and take advantage of the ever present blessings that He pours onto us.<\/p>\n

So concerning our weaknesses, we know that we have them.\u00a0\u00a0We all should know that we have weaknesses and we should work on them.\u00a0\u00a0However, we erroneously think that we should work on them by ourselves.\u00a0\u00a0Nothing is farther from the truth.\u00a0\u00a0In everything, whether big or small, we need to run to God to ask for Him to give us the victory.\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s look at salvation, Jesus had to come because we were utterly unable to save ourselves.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He had to make the way and then show us the way.\u00a0\u00a0(Romans 8:12-14<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0I know that I have no strength and am prone to sin but by the strength and blessings of God, as I humble myself and realize that my strength is of no value, as I instead rely solely on God, then my challenges become victories and I live in peace.\u00a0\u00a0I am nothing and to know that is a very good place to be.\u00a0\u00a0However I am a child of God and so, because of Jesus, I am something, and that is the best place to be.\u00a0\u00a0Praise God Almighty who is our strength!\u00a0\u00a0Praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will Hear\u00a0me.<\/i><\/p>\n
