Romans 3:10-18<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0As it is written: \u201cThere is no one righteous, not even one;\u00a011\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.\u00a0\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.\u201d\u00a013\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>\u201cTheir throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.\u201d \u201cThe poison of vipers is on their lips.\u201d\u00a0\u00a014\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>\u201cTheir mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.\u201d\u00a0\u00a015\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>\u201cTheir feet are swift to shed blood;\u00a016<\/sup><\/b><\/i>\u00a0ruin and misery mark their ways,\u00a017\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>and the way of peace they do not know.\u201d\u00a0\u00a018\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>\u201cThere is no fear of God before their eyes.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 6:23<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0For the wages of sin is death,\u00a0but the gift of God is eternal life\u00a0in\u00a0Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 5:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 10:9-10<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0If you declare\u00a0with your mouth, \u201cJesus is Lord,\u201d\u00a0and believe\u00a0in your heart that God raised him from the dead,\u00a0you will be saved.\u00a010\u00a0For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 10:13<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 5:1<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 8:1<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.<\/i><\/p>\n Romans 8:38-39\u00a0<\/b>–\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,\u00a0neither the present nor the future,\u00a0nor any powers,\u00a039\u00a0neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God\u00a0that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/i><\/p>\n The truth of these verses I carry with me every day.\u00a0\u00a0They all are either my past, my present, or my future.\u00a0\u00a0Jesus took my sins off me and put them on Himself in order that I could be eternally alive with Him and in eternal peace with God Almighty.\u00a0\u00a0I don\u2019t forget who I was and don\u2019t cover my eyes to who I sometimes still can be.\u00a0\u00a0Starting with the Lord God, I have most hurt the ones I have most loved, and shamefully, still do.\u00a0\u00a0I hold onto this truth because it keeps me in appreciation that only because of Jesus am I saved.\u00a0\u00a0I was a rotten guy, and sometimes still can be.\u00a0\u00a0But the great evil of my sin was snatched away by the greater love of God, and that through Jesus the Christ.<\/p>\n Every day I carry that I, without God within, am a very terrible sinner.\u00a0\u00a0That is truth.\u00a0\u00a0Yet, what is also truth is that Jesus set me free from bondage to sin so that I am free to be changed by the Holy Spirit and as I am, my freedom through Christ is best revealed because sin no longer rules my heart.\u00a0\u00a0Laws don\u2019t confine me\u2026I am free.\u00a0\u00a0I no longer obey rules because of fear or slavery to them.\u00a0\u00a0Instead I obey rules because He who lives within me, who makes me new, changes me so that the new me so that the taste of sin becomes increasingly putrid. (2 Corinthians 5:17<\/b>) Sin moves from being sweet to being something putrid that I desire to wretch out.\u00a0\u00a0My heart longs for righteousness, even as my earthly dying nature cries out for unrighteousness.\u00a0\u00a0I have no question which desire is winning and which will win, it is the nature of the Holy Spirit that is winning and will win.\u00a0\u00a0I see the evidence of it even as I\u2019m impatient for the eradication of sinful desires<\/p>\n Take these verses and insert your name into them.\u00a0\u00a0Make them personal because they are meant personally for every one of us. For instance \u201cFor all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace though the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0This verse becomes \u201cBob has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and Bob has been justified freely by His grace though the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>Put our name in all of the verses and so receive the grace of God that comes only through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>The verses are all true for all of us.\u00a0\u00a0Carry the truth with us and be prepared to share the truth with anyone who asks. (1 Peter 3:15-16<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0And thank God for these truths.\u00a0\u00a0Always remember who you were and always thank God for His sanctification.\u00a0\u00a0To the praise of God, He is always moving us forward.<\/p>\n Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will Hear\u00a0me.<\/p>\n Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has\u00a0shown you, Oh man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; and what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of you, but\u00a0to do justly, to love\u00a0mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.<\/p>\n Numbers 6:24-26<\/b>\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0bless you and keep you; 25\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0turn His face\u00a0toward you and give you peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Romans 3:23-24\u00a0\u2013\u00a0For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace though the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
