Proverbs 27:19<\/b>\u00a0\u201cAs water reflects the face, so one\u2019s life reflects the heart.\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
Luke 6:45<\/b>\u00a0\u201cA good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
I remember when I was a young child one of my cousins from my parents\u2019 generation visited us a few times.\u00a0\u00a0He struggled with alcohol and heroin addiction.\u00a0\u00a0Still, he was a jolly, friendly and affectionate man.\u00a0\u00a0My parents loved him and enjoyed his company.\u00a0\u00a0He was a short man with a slight build.\u00a0\u00a0But oh his personality was big.\u00a0\u00a0I remember that he had, upon our first meeting, shocked me.\u00a0\u00a0Not by anything he did, but by his appearance.\u00a0\u00a0Though he was approximately my parent\u2019s age he looked older by maybe a decade or two.\u00a0\u00a0I remember my parents speaking fondly of him but lamenting that his life of addictions had \u201caged him\u201d beyond his years. Over fifty-five years later I have seen many who have lived a rough life and that rough life has always prematurely aged them.\u00a0\u00a0So sad.<\/p>\n
Be assured what you do can be seen by who you are.\u00a0\u00a0It is as the saying goes \u201cStealing does not make a man a thief, a man steals because he is a thief.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Getting angry and then hurting is not because of the other person, but because of what is within us.\u00a0\u00a0What we do is because of what is in our hearts.\u00a0\u00a0I often see what is in a person\u2019s heart.\u00a0\u00a0It flashes in their eyes.<\/p>\n
Galatians 6:7<\/b>\u00a0\u201cDo not be\u00a0deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.\u201d\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0A person who does evil, who lives evil without repentance, shall not escape the ramifications of their deeds.\u00a0\u00a0We may not see their punishment, but eternity looms within the next breath.\u00a0\u00a0One who lives in rebellion to the ways of God will find that their evil is a living legacy that forever follow them.\u00a0\u00a0(Numbers 32:23<\/b>)<\/p>\n
Thank you Jesus for providing the escape clause.\u00a0\u00a0The escape clause has conditions that all, should they so desire, are able to fulfill.\u00a0\u00a0The most important condition is to call on the name of the Lord Jesus to be saved.\u00a0\u00a0(Acts 2:21)\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Romans 10:9-10<\/b>\u00a0\u201c<\/i>\u00a0<\/sup><\/b><\/span>If you declare\u00a0with your mouth, \u201cJesus is Lord,\u201d\u00a0and believe\u00a0in your heart that God raised him from the dead,\u00a0you will be saved.\u00a010\u00a0For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0All who live in faith in the person and works of Jesus, and love Him, are saved from their sins.\u00a0\u00a0What about repentance?\u00a0\u00a0If we truly love Him, the Lord will sanctify our lives.\u00a0\u00a0The Good News is that salvation is available to all.\u00a0\u00a0If anyone has not repented, please do so right now, your peace with God is next to you to receive.<\/p>\n Remember that the life you live is not hidden, God sees it all.\u00a0\u00a0(Hebrews 4:13<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0And likely, your family and friends see the life you live.\u00a0\u00a0It shows on your face and certainly in your eyes through which your soul can be seen. (Matthew 6:22-23<\/b>) Come to Jesus today, make peace with Him by your faith in Him.\u00a0\u00a0The benefits of loving Him are known only to those who do.\u00a0\u00a0Know Jesus, know peace!\u00a0\u00a0Love and peace with God to all.\u00a0\u00a0Praise God!<\/p>\n Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will Hear\u00a0me.<\/p>\n Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has\u00a0shown you, Oh man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; and what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of you, but\u00a0to do justly, to love\u00a0mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.<\/p>\n Numbers 6:24-26<\/b>\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0bless you and keep you; 25\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0turn His face\u00a0toward you and give you peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Proverbs 27:19\u00a0\u201cAs water reflects the face, so one\u2019s life reflects the heart.\u201d\u00a0 Luke 6:45\u00a0\u201cA good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart.
