Proverbs 27:20<\/b>\u00a0\u201cDeath and Destruction are never satisfied, and neither are human eyes<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n
Every day someone dies somewhere and this will continue until present creation is destroyed and replaced.\u00a0\u00a0Destruction of the earth and everything on it is perpetual until the appointed time.\u00a0\u00a0(Matthew 24:35, Revelation 21:1-4<\/b>) It is a consequence of the original sin of man.\u00a0\u00a0(Romans 8:19-22<\/b>)<\/p>\n
Today mankind strives to live forever.\u00a0\u00a0Mankind also tries to keep this earth from what ravages it.\u00a0\u00a0Yet it is a futile struggle against the decree of God.\u00a0\u00a0Mankind dies and all the earth dies with him because of original sin.\u00a0\u00a0Since death is a God proclaimed consequence of man\u2019s rebellion, the cancer of death is stopped only by the one who was rebelled against, God.\u00a0\u00a0Ultimately all sin is against God. (Psalm 51:4<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0Only God can forgive sin.<\/p>\n
Only God can stop the penalty of sin.\u00a0\u00a0Man tries to find a cure against death, but man cannot stop what God has proclaimed.\u00a0\u00a0Man\u2019s sin also brought consequence to all of creation. (Romans 8:20-21<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0Again, only God can stop it and He stopped it through Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0Now we know that even the redeemed man will physically die.\u00a0\u00a0Jesus died to redeem souls back to God. (1 Peter 19<\/b>,\u00a0Luke 19:10<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0However death of the terrestrial body is evidence of the fall and therefore a reminder against sin.\u00a0\u00a0Only in eternity with the Lord will we receive our celestial body that will never perish.<\/p>\n
Natural death is a reminder of the greatness, love, compassion and kindness of God who redeemed us.\u00a0\u00a0People die because man sinned. Thank God that the story does not end there.\u00a0\u00a0At the right time Jesus came and sacrificed His life to make a way back to God.\u00a0\u00a0(Romans 5:6<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0In that we see the great love of God for His creation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We do not fear the death of our bodies because our spirit will forever be with God.\u00a0\u00a0Death has lost its sting.\u00a01 Corinthians 15:53-57<\/b>\u00a0\u201cFor the perishable\u00a0must clothe itself with the imperishable,\u00a0and the mortal with immortality.\u00a0\u00a054\u00a0When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: \u201cDeath has been swallowed up in victory.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>55\u00a0\u201cWhere, O death, is your victory?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Where, O death, is your sting?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>56\u00a0The sting of death is sin,\u00a0and the power of sin is the law.\u00a057\u00a0But thanks be to God!\u00a0He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Death no longer frightens but rather is a release unto God.
