Lord, how wonderful to walk with You,<\/p>\n
To have the beauty of knowing You!<\/p>\n
Oh Lord, great Pearl, oh great Treasure,<\/p>\n
I abandon all for Your gaze,<\/p>\n
Simply for your gaze!<\/p>\n
Your approval is too much to ask for,<\/p>\n
And yet, I grasp it tight and will not let go!<\/p>\n
I would rather live in the outskirts of Your kingdom,<\/p>\n
Then in the throne room of the world.<\/p>\n
It is better to be in Your will working Your fields,<\/p>\n
Then to rest on soft pillows in the mansions of the world.<\/p>\n
With great fervor and an exalted voice I shout Your praises!<\/p>\n
Who is like the Lord?\u00a0 Who shall stand beside Him?<\/p>\n
Oh God, great and mighty God, I fall before You!<\/p>\n
In knowing You I receive who You are.<\/p>\n
In knowing who You are and loving You,<\/p>\n
I rest in You, greatest of all servants!<\/p>\n
For always You have served Your creation.<\/p>\n
Creating us you blessed us!<\/p>\n
Having created us you have guided us.<\/p>\n
Guiding us you have protected us.<\/p>\n
When we fell, you instantly began to heal us.<\/p>\n
Healing us You gave Yourself.<\/p>\n
Giving Yourself, You redeemed to perfection,<\/p>\n
Perfection coming in the completion of Your love,<\/p>\n
Displayed to us before creation,<\/p>\n
Demonstrated to us from dust to eternity,<\/p>\n
Always, Your love has been on display.<\/p>\n
Where Your love is, that is where You serve.<\/p>\n
Ultimate love and service found in the form of Jesus,<\/p>\n
Jesus revealing You.<\/p>\n
Jesus the Servant to God,<\/p>\n
He came to serve,<\/p>\n
Serving He humbled Himself before His creation.<\/p>\n
Oh this knowledge explodes within me,<\/p>\n
It is too wonderful for me!<\/p>\n
Following Him I long to serve You,<\/p>\n
To serve You and Your creation,<\/p>\n
To love God and that giving birth to loving others.<\/p>\n
