Isaiah 5:20-21<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Woe\u00a0to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.\u00a0 21\u00a0Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2 Timothy 3:1-5<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But know this, that\u00a0in the last days\u00a0perilous times will come:\u00a02\u00a0For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,\u00a03\u00a0unloving,\u00a0unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,\u00a04\u00a0traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,\u00a05\u00a0having a form of godliness but\u00a0denying its power. And\u00a0from such people turn away!<\/i><\/p>\n

Family and Friends, we who have eyes to see and a mind trained by God to know, we must observe not with worldly eyes that are common to all in the world, but we must see with eyes that are opened only at spiritual rebirth through Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0We see the truth of these two verses above.\u00a0\u00a0Dear Brothers and Sisters, let\u2019s prepare for the wedding.\u00a0\u00a0Let us shed the common clothes and put on clean and appropriate clothing for the wedding of the King of kings.\u00a0\u00a0Shed the dirty, shed the inappropriate, be properly attired.\u00a0\u00a0Our invitations are engraved in our hearts and minds by the presence of the Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0We see what the world cannot see and He who is within explains all these things to us.\u00a0\u00a0Let us be busy because we don\u2019t know how much time we have left.\u00a0\u00a0The wedding draws ever closer.\u00a0\u00a0Let us read the signs and be ready.<\/p>\n

Matthew 24:36, 42-46<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,\u00a0but only the Father.\u00a0\u00a0Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.\u00a043\u00a0But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming,\u00a0he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.\u00a044\u00a0So you also must be ready,\u00a0because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.\u00a0\u00a045\u00a0\u201cWho then is the faithful and wise servant,\u00a0whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?\u00a046\u00a0It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.<\/i><\/p>\n

Events are happening faster and faster. Like the birth pangs of a woman giving birth, events are stronger and closer together.\u00a0\u00a0At the very least they should be saying to us \u201cBe ready.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0(1 Thessalonians 5:3)<\/b><\/p>\n

Matthew 24:33<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it\u00a0is near, right at the door.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Know the Word.\u00a0\u00a0Hear the Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0See the signs.<\/p>\n

Matthew 16:2-3<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He replied,\u00a0<\/i><\/span>\u201cWhen evening comes, you say, \u2018It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,\u2019<\/i><\/span>\u00a03\u00a0and in the morning, \u2018Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.\u2019 You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Dear Brothers and Sisters, the Lord Jesus wants us to remember what God has revealed to all who will listen.\u00a0\u00a0We are not to be caught unaware.\u00a0\u00a0Let us pray for insight and wisdom and let us heed the Word of God that prepares and enables us in every way.\u00a0\u00a0And in all things, let us not fear, for our sure reward awaits us.\u00a0\u00a0God is good all the time.\u00a0\u00a0God loves us.\u00a0\u00a0If we know that, we know we need not fear. Indeed, \u201clet everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0\u00a0Praise the Lord!<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
