James 1:19<\/b>\u00a0\u201cMy dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Matthew 7:3-5<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0\u201cWhy do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother\u2019s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?<\/i><\/span>\u00a04<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>How can you say to your brother, \u2018Let me take the speck out of your eye,\u2019 when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?<\/span>\u00a05<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother\u2019s eye.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Romans 2:1-3<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.\u00a02<\/a>\u00a0Now we know that God\u2019s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.\u00a03<\/a>\u00a0So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God\u2019s judgment?<\/i><\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 11:31<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cRemember, when you point your finger at someone, there are three more pointing back at you\u201d is a well-known saying.<\/div>\n
\"Finger<\/a>
\nAnother well know saying is \u201cPhysician heal thyself.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0What they both mean is before we accuse another, or others, of doing something, be sure that we, or those with us, are not doing the same thing.<\/div>\n

Right now there is a lot of finger pointing go on.\u00a0\u00a0Are those who are pointing their fingers innocent of what they accuse others of?\u00a0\u00a0Well God knows, and He sees.\u00a0\u00a0And we can be sure they will be held accountable. (Galatians 6:7<\/b>)<\/p>\n

Good verses to consider:\u00a0\u00a0Proverbs 16:28-29<\/b>\u00a0\u201cA perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.\u00a0\u00a0A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good<\/i>.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Has this happened in our life?<\/p>\n

Titus 3:10-11<\/b>\u00a0\u201cWarn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.\u00a0You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0Are people separating us from those we know to be good people, who have loved us and counseled us?<\/p>\n

Proverbs 18:17<\/b>\u00a0\u201cIn a lawsuit the first person to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.<\/i>\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Have we accepted the testimony of the first person(s) before we have accused those whom we have loved, and who have loved us?<\/div>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God<\/i>.<\/p>\n
