Acts 28:23-31<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying.\u00a0He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God,\u00a0and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets\u00a0he tried to persuade them about Jesus.\u00a024\u00a0Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.\u00a025\u00a0They disagreed among themselves and began to leave\u00a0after Paul had made this final statement:\u00a0\u201cThe Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said\u00a0through Isaiah the prophet: 26\u00a0\u201c\u2018Go to this people and say, \u201cYou will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.\u201d\u00a0 27\u00a0For this people\u2019s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.\u2019\u00a0\u00a028\u00a0\u201cTherefore I want you to know that God\u2019s salvation\u00a0has been sent to the Gentiles,\u00a0and they will listen!\u201d\u00a029 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.\u00a0 30\u00a0For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.\u00a031\u00a0He\u00a0proclaimed the kingdom of God\u00a0and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ\u2014with all boldness\u00a0and without hindrance!\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore I want you to know that God\u2019s salvation\u00a0has been sent to the Gentiles,\u00a0and they will listen!\u201d\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0And they did.\u00a0\u00a0And we did.\u00a0\u00a0It seems the biggest hurdle for the common Jewish person was tradition and false doctrine whose origin was of man and not of God. Often, the most honest uninitiated receive the Gospel and its truths much quicker than those who must overcome tradition, culture and wrong doctrine.\u00a0\u00a0Perhaps this is a lesson from\u00a0Matthew 10:37<\/b>\u00a0\u201cAnyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.<\/i>\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Sadly it does not say that any gave their lives to Jesus, only that they left arguing.\u00a0\u00a0We hope that some did.\u00a0\u00a0Yet, we are not unaware that a great ploy of the devil is to have a person honestly and fervently believe something, believe anything, so long as it is not that there is only way to Heaven and that is through Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0Only faith in Jesus saves.\u00a0\u00a0All other roads lead to perdition. (John 14:6, Acts 4:12<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0To the enemy, he will let people argue for believing in Jesus while never giving their life to Him.\u00a0\u00a0Let them feel satisfied to believe as long as they don\u2019t yield.\u00a0\u00a0The enemy doesn\u2019t care just as long as they remain their own and do not give their lives to Jesus.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.\u00a031\u00a0He\u00a0proclaimed the kingdom of God\u00a0and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ\u2014with all boldness\u00a0and without hindrance!<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0Paul spent the rest of the time doing what he always did, he loved people enough to share the Gospel with them.\u00a0\u00a0He loved the Lord so he obeyed Him.\u00a0\u00a0He never stopped sharing and teaching, as was his call.\u00a0\u00a0May we be so loyal to the Lord.\u00a0\u00a0In\u00a01 Corinthians 11:1<\/b>\u00a0Paul stated \u201cFollow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.<\/i>\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Yes, we have Jesus the perfect model of how we should live our lives.\u00a0\u00a0We have the Holy Spirit, God Himself within us to guide us and to open up His Word to us.\u00a0\u00a0And the Lord gave us wonderful examples on how to live a life in submission to Christ.\u00a0\u00a0I earnestly pray, that we all set the example for those whose eyes are upon us.\u00a0\u00a0If we have messed up in the past, well, get up, clean ourselves off, and start on the right path again.\u00a0\u00a0That in itself is a great example.<\/p>\n

I am sad to be done with Acts.\u00a0\u00a0But I am always blessed by it.\u00a0\u00a0Surely I will be visiting it often.\u00a0\u00a0Love and blessings to all!<\/p>\n

Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; and what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Your God.<\/p>\n

Numbers 6:24-26<\/b>\u00a0\u201cThe\u00a0Lord\u00a0bless you and keep you; 25\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0turn His face\u00a0toward you and give you peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
