Ecclesiastes 12:11<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails\u2014given by one shepherd.<\/i><\/span>\u00a012\u00a0Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.\u00a0\u00a0Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. 13\u00a0Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God\u00a0and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14\u00a0For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0Matthew 10:28<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One\u00a0who can destroy both soul and body in hell.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0James 4:14<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a\u00a0mist\u00a0that appears for a little while and then vanishes.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i>2 Timothy 1:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0For the\u00a0Spirit\u00a0God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0Coronavirus.\u00a0 Frightening deadly specter or only frightening to the fearful?<\/p>\n

Not afraid does not mean unconcerned.\u00a0\u00a0Yet what must be initially agreed upon is there are mainly two different schools of thought.\u00a0\u00a0One believes the current government policy of sheltering-in-place, trying to sanitize everything, wearing gloves and masks in public, keeping six feet away, and keeping this policy till a vaccine is achieved.\u00a0\u00a0All this for a flu that is not more deadly than other flu\u2019s that have been amongst us for years.\u00a0\u00a0Others believe that while some precautions should be taken, the precautions ought not to be more than for any other flu season.\u00a0\u00a0We know that this flu, with all knowledge we currently have, will never fully be exterminated.\u00a0\u00a0Both sides agree to that.\u00a0\u00a0Not unless medicine makes a huge leap in advancement.\u00a0\u00a0Sure, all things are possible, but not all things are probable.\u00a0\u00a0Can a cure happen?\u00a0\u00a0Of course it can.\u00a0\u00a0Is it probable to happen in a few months, or in a year?\u00a0\u00a0Not likely.\u00a0\u00a0Folks, we have no cure for the common cold!\u00a0\u00a0That should tell us what is likely to happen in the near future.<\/p>\n

I have been repeating, over and over again, that the virus is real.\u00a0 Yes, I believe it is real.\u00a0 I have never doubted it.\u00a0 What my suspicion is against is how it is being handled.\u00a0 Is it the best way?\u00a0 Or even a healthy way.\u00a0 Below is my response to someone who bored me with the trite answers of those with opposing beliefs.<\/p>\n

I’ve done my research.\u00a0\u00a0Unlike you I didn’t drink their kool-aid as I was researching. (I apologize, my sarcasm was out of line.)\u00a0\u00a0This virus is overwhelmingly not deadly. Some will die. Overwhelmingly, most will not. (+99% of healthy people)<\/p>\n

If you’re living then death is in your future. No-one wants to have any virus kill them, but some refuse to live in fear and others succumb to fear and live their lives that way.\u00a0\u00a0Then they often die of something other than old age. Living life we build immunities, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. No part of living life is risk free. That is a fact of life. Stay inside and die of cancer. See no-one and die of deliberate suicide, overdose, or drink oneself to death. Lock yourself in and someone breaks in and kills you. There are no guarantees. I’d rather live my life enjoying it than on my death bed (sooner or later) with regret that I had a life to live and instead hid from it. I know life is dangerous. Also that the fullness of life is not in being alone.<\/p>\n

Finally, I KNOW that this life is temporary and a wisp of mist against the expanse of eternity. Then we stand before God with an entrance ticket prepaid by Jesus or we appear before God with no prepaid ticket to Heaven and so go to the only other eternity, Hell. You see the choice is ours. So whether I live or I die, I am ready for this life and for the next one.\u00a0\u00a0I don’t cling to this one and I don’t rush to the next. That is having the fullest life for now and into eternity.\u00a0You see if you are ready for forever, you don’t cling to today<\/i>. If you know that forever is better you smile and freely live life today. In this life, tomorrow is guaranteed to no-one, but we all are guaranteed forever. Because of Jesus I’m not afraid of the forever, but see it as the next step of life. However, those without Jesus, are afraid of what is next. (None who are dependent on Jesus should think differently.) With Jesus, enjoy this life knowing a better one is ahead. Or without him be afraid and cower and cling to this one. Death is coming for us all. I love this life and the reason why is because death has lost its sting. I am free to do that, are you?<\/span><\/div>\n

1 Corinthians 15:55<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cWhere, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your\u00a0sting?\u201d<\/i><\/div>\n

My prayer for all is the same as the prayers of all those who have loved Jesus through the ages.\u00a0\u00a0I pray for all of you that you would know the peace of God that surpasses understanding.\u00a0\u00a0(Philippians 4:7<\/b>) I pray this prayer out of sincere love for all of you.\u00a0\u00a0And in having God\u2019s peace, you will enjoy, to the fullest, this life that is a gift from God.\u00a0\u00a0Enjoy this one and do not be afraid of the next step into eternity.\u00a0\u00a0Fear is bondage but Jesus set us free.\u00a0\u00a0(John 8:36<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0And in all of our life, may we be thankful to God and may we praise Him.\u00a0\u00a0Praise God!<\/span><\/p>\n
