Job 42:1-6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Then Job replied to the\u00a0Lord: 2\u00a0\u201cI know that you can do all things; \u00a0no purpose of yours can be thwarted.\u00a0\u00a03\u00a0You asked, \u2018Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?\u2019\u00a0\u00a0Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.\u00a0\u00a04\u00a0\u201cYou said, \u2018Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.\u2019\u00a0\u00a05\u00a0My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.\u00a0\u00a06\u00a0Therefore I despise myself and repent\u00a0in dust and ashes.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
One does not ask why the greater does not conform to the lesser.\u00a0\u00a0One asks why the lesser does not conform to the greater.\u00a0\u00a0It is natural for those without true and, or, mature knowledge to ask why doesn\u2019t the Bible conform to science.\u00a0\u00a0That is not a correct question.\u00a0\u00a0The correct question is why science doesn\u2019t conform to the Bible.\u00a0\u00a0Science cannot disprove the Bible, instead the Word of God shows the error of whatever attempts to contradict it!\u00a0\u00a0Family, for us who have been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age (Hebrews 6:4-5<\/b>), it is great folly to let the world shape the discussion about God.\u00a0\u00a0They wave their philosophy and their science about and are shocked when we care not for their argument.\u00a0\u00a0Even those who sit in the seats next to us at church fall into the weakness and shamefulness of believing that the Bible must give account of itself to human philosophy and human understanding of the rules of the universe.\u00a0\u00a0Don\u2019t let the majority error sway you from the true knowledge of the narrow path.\u00a0\u00a0(Matthew 7:1-14<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0Those of the world think that they can, with the brains that God gave to them, philosophize a way to overrule or discredit the very existence of the one who gave them their brain?\u00a0\u00a0They think that they can tell of the universe, how it was created, how it exists and what its future is, to the one who created it, sustains it, and has set a schedule for its demise?\u00a0\u00a0How arrogant and foolish!\u00a0\u00a0Family who is anyone of mankind to say that their wisdom and knowledge is greater than the wisdom and knowledge of God.\u00a0\u00a0It is outrageous for the very ones who will stand before God to be judged by him to attempt to judge the Judge. Their lack of understanding is as obvious as one who walks naked down the busy boulevard.\u00a0\u00a0God is the judge of all.\u00a0\u00a0All that a person thinks, says and does will be judged by God.\u00a0\u00a0(Romans 2:16, Ecclesiastes 12:14<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s not let their foolish questions be ours.\u00a0\u00a0God is higher and greater than anyone or anything.\u00a0\u00a0So when someone asks us to justify the Word of God to their science or philosophy, let us tell them that they err.\u00a0\u00a0To be correct, they need to find the wisdom and knowledge in science and philosophy that actually aligns itself with the Word of God and not vice-a-versa.\u00a0\u00a0Right does not need to correct itself to be wrong.\u00a0\u00a0Wrong needs to correct itself to be right!<\/p>\n
