Waterfall has eyes,<\/p>\n
They are eternity,<\/p>\n
They are present,<\/p>\n
They hold me,<\/p>\n
And have become,<\/p>\n
Part of me.<\/p>\n
Through the waterfall,<\/p>\n
Is great kindness.<\/p>\n
Yet, I have never seen,<\/p>\n
What I never knew,<\/p>\n
Was I was not allowed,<\/p>\n
Was to see behind its curtain.<\/p>\n
To see the memories it has.<\/p>\n
It shielded its memories,<\/p>\n
From me,<\/p>\n
Lest I know,<\/p>\n
Lest I lose my step and slip,<\/p>\n
Into its depths,<\/p>\n
And become lost.<\/p>\n
Yet it failed,<\/p>\n
I looked deeply,<\/p>\n
I fell in love with the shimmering beauty,<\/p>\n
And I fell into the pool,<\/p>\n
At the feet of the waterfall.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t want to be rescued,<\/p>\n
Or swept away,<\/p>\n
But the current from the falling water,<\/p>\n
Ushered me away.<\/p>\n
Still I remember,<\/p>\n
Still I long to,<\/p>\n
Hear again,<\/p>\n
The softness of the Waterfall,<\/p>\n
To peer in and have my gaze,<\/p>\n
Never interrupted.<\/p>\n
The beauty of it,<\/p>\n
Depth without end,<\/p>\n
Remaining kindness,<\/p>\n
Soft, but strong beyond measure,<\/p>\n
Wise, but ever learning,<\/p>\n
Grand, but growing,<\/p>\n
Inspiring without trying to be.<\/p>\n
Oh, perhaps I may visit again.<\/p>\n
If not, I will never forget,<\/p>\n
And always love,<\/p>\n
