Matthew 28:6a<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He is not here; he has\u00a0risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.<\/i><\/p>\n

1 Peter 2:24-25<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0\u201cHe himself bore our sins\u201d\u00a0in his body on the cross,\u00a0so that we might die to sins\u00a0and live for righteousness; \u201cby his wounds you have been healed.\u201d\u00a025\u00a0For \u201cyou were like sheep going astray,\u201d\u00a0but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.<\/i><\/p>\n

Isaiah 53\u00a0<\/b>(11,12c<\/b>) –\u00a0After He has suffered, He will see the light\u00a0of life\u00a0and be satisfied: by His knowledge\u00a0my righteous servant\u00a0will justify\u00a0many, and He will bear their iniquities. For he bore\u00a0the sin of many, and made intercession\u00a0for the transgressors.<\/i><\/p>\n

Some have panicked.\u00a0\u00a0Some cannot sleep wondering what will happen.\u00a0\u00a0But we, we who know Him, know there was a day when His disciples had worse days.\u00a0\u00a0They had a fear for their lives hanging over their heads, but that was only a small cul-de-sac to worry within.\u00a0\u00a0Their main worry was what to do with the hope they had come to cherish.\u00a0\u00a0What had become of the One that gave it to them?\u00a0\u00a0They saw Him die and then, with tear streaked faces and hearts so heavy they thought they would drop from them and fall to the ground, they had slunk away,.\u00a0\u00a0Oh they hurt.\u00a0\u00a0They felt like there was no hope.\u00a0\u00a0That night they cried to each other and continued to cry in their beds.\u00a0\u00a0Their minds raced \u201cWhat now?\u00a0\u00a0Oh no, what now?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0The next day they could not eat.\u00a0\u00a0Looking at each other only reminded them of what they thought they had lost.\u00a0\u00a0All of them had broken hearts and no-one had the salve to heal their hearts.\u00a0\u00a0That day was the longest and most dreadful of their lives.\u00a0\u00a0They went to bed wondering if they could sleep.\u00a0\u00a0After the brutal hurt of the last days they succumbed to sleep, but their sleep was not deep and it was not untroubled.\u00a0\u00a0Then, in the morning, came the news that was beyond belief.\u00a0\u00a0He had risen!\u00a0\u00a0He was alive!\u00a0\u00a0He who was their hope was alive again.\u00a0\u00a0The comfort, their peace, their hope had returned.<\/p>\n

Family and Friends, What is upon us seems, to some, too hard to bear.\u00a0\u00a0But us who love the Lord understand that we don\u2019t cling to the world, but to Him, who they clung to.\u00a0\u00a0Today is a trial, but peace and joy remain.\u00a0\u00a0Today brings fears to many, but many understand that there is nothing to fear, because He who was dead is alive again.\u00a0\u00a0The enemy, the hater of our souls, wants us to focus on the world, but let us be wise.\u00a0\u00a0Why look at gloom when we have received the hope of all generations.\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s look at life, and not death.\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s look at Jesus and not the world. (2 Corinthians 4:18<\/b>)\u00a0\u00a0No need to worry, Jesus has \u201cgot this!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Jesus has \u201cgot us!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0No worries.\u00a0\u00a0Joy unceasing.\u00a0\u00a0Peace unending.\u00a0\u00a0Our circumstances have not changed since before \u201cthese days.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Before these days came upon us, now, and in future days, we remain in the exact same circumstances.\u00a0\u00a0We rest in Jesus who is our Savior and our Hope.\u00a0\u00a0Yes, we remain in the rest given by Jesus and that to the glory of Jesus and what He has done!\u00a0\u00a0Praise God<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hope For Tomorrow<\/b><\/p>\n

Horror oh horror, oh the screams!<\/p>\n

Agony yells out with abandon,<\/p>\n

Women bend over and scream with no restraint!<\/p>\n

Even children know the horror.<\/p>\n

Men groan and fear what has been wrought.<\/p>\n

In anger and revolt the earth roars and shakes,<\/p>\n

Thunder and lightning unveil the vulgarity,<\/p>\n

Winds rush and push the stench into nostrils!<\/p>\n

Animals lift their voice to join the pain in the air.<\/p>\n

Despair is thick smoke that burns the eyes and chokes the lungs.<\/p>\n

Dreams are dashed and hope seems hopeless.<\/p>\n

It is Friday.<\/p>\n

\n

A night with no sleep followed.<\/p>\n

Fatigue and confusion accompanied by being numb.<\/p>\n

Crying remains and is interrupted by memories.<\/p>\n

A question of the possible hopelessness of the past.<\/p>\n

Dreams of a bright future cannot be found.<\/p>\n

Roads seem washed away.<\/p>\n

Joy has become sorrow and spirits are retching.<\/p>\n

What will happen next?<\/p>\n

What shall be done?<\/p>\n

Who will be looked upon?<\/p>\n

Given answers are not remembered.<\/p>\n

It is Saturday.<\/p>\n

\n

Morning has come, questions remain.<\/p>\n

Another sleepless night filled with death of heart.<\/p>\n

What does this day bring?<\/p>\n

Sunlight comes and with it good news,<\/p>\n

Can it be believed?<\/p>\n

It is true!\u00a0\u00a0It is true!<\/p>\n

Hope and joy are alive!<\/p>\n

Stunning laughter replaces tears,<\/p>\n

Miraculously the impossible makes sense,<\/p>\n

The horror is changed to victory!<\/p>\n

Victory brings freedom,<\/p>\n

Chains are broken and fear is no more!<\/p>\n

Washed away is the shame and sorrow,<\/p>\n

Oh the joy! Oh the peace! Oh the wonder!<\/p>\n

All is well, all is perfect.<\/p>\n

It is Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

P<\/b><\/span>salm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n
