Isaiah 40:28-31\u00a0<\/b>–\u00a0Do you not know?\u00a0 Have you not heard?\u00a0 The\u00a0Lord\u00a0is the everlasting\u00a0God, the Creator\u00a0of the ends of the earth.\u00a0 He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.\u00a0 29\u00a0He gives strength\u00a0to the weary and increases the power of the weak.\u00a0 30\u00a0Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men\u00a0stumble and fall; 31\u00a0but those who hope\u00a0in the\u00a0Lord will renew their strength.\u00a0 They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.<\/i><\/p>\n
\u00a0Our God who is He?\u00a0 He is the Lord God Almighty, creator of everything in the heavens and on the earth.\u00a0 The farthest stars and the brightest stars He, in His majesty, made.\u00a0 Here on earth He has made the smallest creatures and also He has made us.\u00a0 In all of creation, animate and inanimate, His prize creation was and is us.\u00a0 Every one of us.\u00a0 From the humblest of us to the ones who sit on real and political thrones and rule the world.\u00a0\u00a0 He loves us all!\u00a0 He has and does offer His hand of fellowship and unity to us all.\u00a0 It is hard to fathom that one who is so great, who called everything into being and who holds all that is together, would consider us worthy of even s solitary thought, and yet His thoughts are with us as is His love.\u00a0 So much that He sent His Son Jesus to redeem us. \u00a0So much that God Himself came to suffer and die to save us from the worst and eternal fate.\u00a0 His love for us is so great that we cannot fathom the depths of it, we can only know that it is.<\/p>\n
Considering all that we know, His love is the greatest gift we can have.\u00a0 When He gives us His love He has given us Himself.\u00a0 He has, in the form of a the man Jesus, looked upon us while dying on a cross and still loved us.\u00a0 Never does He stop loving us.\u00a0 Man rejected God when they hung Jesus on a cross.\u00a0 Even that did not pause, falter, or lessen His love for us.\u00a0 So, let us read verses such as this and remember that He is always with us.\u00a0 Let us remember that only the Creator is a true and sure source of strength.\u00a0 Not others, not self, only Him.\u00a0 Others will fail us by conscious thought or lack of ability and so will we fail ourselves.\u00a0 But the intent of God is always to bless us and not to curse us.\u00a0 He is always good to us and He always loves us.\u00a0 We can trust each other knowing that we are all fallible, but to the only infallible One, the Lord God Almighty, who came to earth in the form of Jesus, to save us, we can trust and know that He will never fail us.\u00a0 We may not always understand, but God never, ever, fails us!\u00a0 So we look to God and are comforted.\u00a0 We are moved from abject depression to complete and wonderful bliss.\u00a0 We are moved from what seems poverty of hope to a fullness of hope for tomorrow and forever.\u00a0 When we look to the Lord the world does not tire us because He is in control.\u00a0 When we focus on Jesus, we see all the proof we need to know that God loves us and has done all that we need to be assured of His eternal love and great care for us.\u00a0 So when weak, or when strong, let us look to the Lord for renewed and for greater strength.\u00a0 Then our spirits, the very core of our beings, will soar above the problems that threaten us and we will, at least in spirit, be above them and not entangled in them.\u00a0 This is fact.\u00a0 Also what is fact is that God, with His eyes upon, may change our circumstances to give us rest.\u00a0 Though freedom from trial and pain is not rest, God alone, God Himself, is our very real rest.\u00a0 Resting in Him is eternal every moment of our lives.\u00a0 Let\u2019s rest in Him.\u00a0 Let\u2019s trust in Him.\u00a0 He is with us.\u00a0 When we know Him, we know that He is enough.\u00a0 He is all we need.\u00a0 Praise Him!\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n
