Exodus 20:16<\/b>\u00a0\u201cYou shall not give false testimony\u00a0against your neighbor.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0(One of the Ten Commandments)<\/p>\n
Proverbs 6:19<\/b>\u00a0\u201ca false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0One of the things that God \u201chates.\u201d<\/p>\n Should anyone believe a claim against a person without first talking to the \u201caccused?\u201d<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0Proverbs 18:17<\/b>\u00a0\u201cIn a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.\u201d<\/p>\n \n Harm caused by telling lies about another<\/u>.<\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0Psalm 120:2<\/b>\u00a0\u201cSave me,\u00a0Lord<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0from lying lips<\/span>\u00a0and from deceitful tongues.\u201d<\/p>\n Proverbs 26:28<\/b>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Liars (Not in good company)<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n 1 Timothy 1:9-10<\/b>\u00a0\u201cWe also know that the law is made not for the righteous\u00a0but for lawbreakers and rebels,\u00a0the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,<\/span>\u00a010\u00a0<\/sup><\/b>for\u00a0the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and\u00a0liars and perjurers\u2014and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine.\u201d<\/p>\n Revelation 21:8<\/b>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all\u00a0liar<\/b>s\u2014they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. 21\u00a0Praise be to the\u00a0<\/span>Lord<\/span>, for he showed me the wonders of his love when I was in a city under siege.\u00a0\u00a022\u00a0In my alarm\u00a0I said, \u201cI am cut off\u00a0from your sight!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Yet you heard my cry\u00a0for mercy when I called to you for help.\u00a0\u00a023\u00a0Love the\u00a0<\/span>Lord<\/span>, all his faithful people!\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>Lord<\/span>\u00a0preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back\u00a0in full.\u00a0\u00a024\u00a0Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the\u00a0<\/span>Lord<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Matthew 6:14-15<\/b>\u00a0\u201cFor if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.<\/span>\u00a015\u00a0<\/span><\/sup><\/b>But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.<\/span>\u201d<\/p>\n Jesus said that we are to forgive.\u00a0\u00a0First that blesses us as we forgive and leave it behind.\u00a0\u00a0Second, it is a testimony that we belong to Him.\u00a0\u00a0Third the person who has sinned against us may repent of what they have done and peace may ensue.<\/p>\n Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior;
