Jeremiah 29:11-14a\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 For I know the plans\u00a0I have for you,\u201d declares the\u00a0Lord, \u201cplans to prosper\u00a0you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.\u00a012\u00a0Then you will call\u00a0on me and come and pray\u00a0to me, and I will listen\u00a0to you.\u00a013\u00a0You will seek\u00a0me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.\u00a014\u00a0I will be found by you,\u201d declares the\u00a0Lord<\/i>\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes nothing seems settled.\u00a0\u00a0Solid ground begins to move.\u00a0\u00a0Rains of change come and make the ground slippery, or mushy and the path one has been travelling on, and planning on, begins to change.\u00a0\u00a0The future we thought we could see becomes obscured, or hidden, by changing conditions of life.\u00a0\u00a0A journey can seem so pleasantly comfortable, it can seem so secure, and then small, or large change-it-all events can be seen approaching.\u00a0\u00a0What do we do then?<\/p>\n

Hopefully we don\u2019t look up and angrily voice our fears and frustrations to God.\u00a0\u00a0Even God ordained ministries change.\u00a0\u00a0Where we had landed and thrived becomes a point of launching out and not of permanence.\u00a0\u00a0Comfortable retirement becomes an ending of one phase that brings another phase.\u00a0\u00a0God places us in places but that does not mean we are there to stay.\u00a0\u00a0Many times, it is likely to be temporary.\u00a0\u00a0The futures we see can change.\u00a0\u00a0Jesus told us to live in the day (Matthew 6:34, Luke 12:16-21<\/b>).\u00a0\u00a0We are seek God with all that we are (Luke 12:31, 34<\/b>).\u00a0\u00a0We are not to cling to anything or any person on earth, but rather to cling first and foremost to God.\u00a0\u00a0So when changes come we do not feel devastated and are left wondering, but rather we look to our Father God and say from our hearts \u201cOkay Lord, where do we go today?\u00a0\u00a0Lead me Lord and I will follow.\u00a0\u00a0Show me where to step and there I will step.\u00a0\u00a0Lord God, I trust Your love and I trust You.\u201d<\/p>\n

Life changes.\u00a0\u00a0We were never promised it would not.\u00a0\u00a0The only constant is God.\u00a0\u00a0He does not change.\u00a0\u00a0His love and faithfulness are sure and unchanging.\u00a0\u00a0However the circumstances of life change, even the ministries that God has placed us in.\u00a0\u00a0Some things, like marriage and love of our parents and children, are meant to be permanent. Our trust in God does not waiver, but grows stronger as He continues to lead us over changing ground.\u00a0\u00a0We may be led where we hoped not to go.\u00a0\u00a0We may encounter life events that we hoped would never come.\u00a0\u00a0All the events of life, even the ministries we are placed in, are subject to change.\u00a0\u00a0Let us cling to the only true constant and that is the faithfulness and love of our God.\u00a0\u00a0When life on earth changes, God does not (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 13:8, James 1:17, Malachi 3:6<\/b>).\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s keep our eyes on Him and our ears open to hear Him and walk in unshakeable faith that He is, and will always be, in control.\u00a0\u00a0Praise our God whom we trust!\u00a0\u00a0Praise our God who so greatly loves us!\u00a0\u00a0He has a good plan for all of us.\u00a0\u00a0Praise God for who He is!\u00a0\u00a0At all times and in all circumstances, praise and trust God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
