1 Timothy 5:5\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0The widow who is really in need\u00a0and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray\u00a0and to ask God for help.<\/i><\/p>\n
We should be like the widow, knowing we are destitute and that our trust is placed in God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Too often it is easy to wait till we cannot think of any other thing to do before we seek God for answers.\u00a0 We wait until we are desperate.\u00a0 The truth is that God should always be whom we first turn to.\u00a0 We should be praying night and day, when our conscious mind is preoccupied then our subconscious mind and our hearts should remain focused on Him.\u00a0 God should be our greatest hope and the first One we seek for truth and answers to life. He answers every prayer with the perfect answer.\u00a0 If He says \u201cno\u201d then we should know Him well enough that we want His answers and we toss aside our answers to embrace His perfect plan (Jeremiah 29:11<\/b>).\u00a0 Dear Family and Friends, in these modern days people are quick to tell us that is okay to be angry at God.\u00a0 No, it is not! \u00a0If we are angry with Him, then yes we should be honest about that.\u00a0 However it happens because our understanding and faith is immature, or weak.\u00a0 Or perhaps because we are being petulant and willful children.\u00a0 That is not a good place to be.\u00a0 Let\u2019s not excuse weakness and sin.\u00a0 When we don\u2019t understand, we should call out Him in trust and in faith, not in anger.\u00a0 When we speak angrily to God we are too often in the same breath accusing Him.\u00a0 We are saying \u201cGod, you could have stopped this evil thing from happening!\u201d\u00a0 This is not what someone who claims to know Him should do (Job 40:8<\/b>).\u00a0 If we know that He is good (1 Chronicles 16:34, Psalm 25:8<\/b>)\u00a0<\/b>and that He loves us (Jeremiah 31:3<\/b>,\u00a01 John 3:1<\/b>), if we really know that about Him, then what we should call out to God is \u201cNot my will but Yours (Luke 22:42<\/b>).\u00a0 I trust Your plan and decision far more than mine (Proverbs 3:5-6<\/b>).\u00a0 Lord, please strengthen me and please give me the faith and wisdom to not doubt.\u201d (Mark 9:24, James 1:6, Matthew 14:31<\/b>) \u00a0The Word says that whatever is not of faith in sin (Romans 14:23<\/b>).\u00a0 Doubting God at any time, even in the hardest of times, is a lack of faith in Him, in who He is, In His omniscience, in His abilities and of His goodness and love.\u00a0 Any way we slice it, it is sin.\u00a0 It is not complete faith.\u00a0 It is often a demand to understand what we cannot.\u00a0 Family, yes, it\u2019s being human.\u00a0 Or, as the Word describes, it is living in the flesh, and we know that living in the flesh is contrary to living in the Spirit (Romans 8:5, 9<\/b>).\u00a0 In the end, praise God who forgives all of our sins.\u00a0 But isn\u2019t our goal not to sin .\u00a0 Family, live being led by the Spirit and we will not sin (Galatians 5:16-17<\/b>), and that includes yelling foolish things to God.\u00a0 Being angry with God is not God\u2019s plan.\u00a0 If it is not His plan than it is the plan of \u2026.well, you know.\u00a0 Additionally, are we the final authority of what is evil?\u00a0 Do we know more fully than God?<\/p>\n We are called to know and live by \u201cAnd now these three remain: faith, hope and love.\u00a0But the greatest of these is love.<\/i>\u201d (1 Corinthians 13:13<\/b>).\u00a0 Being angry with God is not expressing full faith in Him.<\/p>\n Family I have no desire to placate myself with something false.\u00a0 I would rather know the Truth and become stronger.\u00a0 It is the same thing I say to all of you.\u00a0 I could ride the bandwagon and say it is okay to be angry at God because certain biblical people got angry with God.\u00a0 Yet because they got angry with God does not make it okay.\u00a0 Plenty of heroes and beloved of God sinned in this way, including many of the most prominent.\u00a0 Their sin is revealed to show their humanity and their imperfection.\u00a0 It is not an example to follow but an error to eschew.\u00a0 It would be easy for me to follow the common error.\u00a0 However, I will not (1 Corinthians 9:16<\/b>).\u00a0 My first loyalty and love is to God.\u00a0\u00a0 If I were to tell you a lie to placate you then in the same breath I would be betraying God.\u00a0 Also, then, I would not be loving you, but being uncaring and perhaps, even hateful.\u00a0 I would rather someone despise my words for telling the truth, then to tell them a lie so they will accept my words.\u00a0 The Lord speaks truth to me about me, sometimes it hurts, but when I accept the truth He makes me stronger.\u00a0 I pray that we would never doubt, lack faith in God, but that we would love, trust and never accuse God.\u00a0 That is a much better road.\u00a0 Let us rejoice in, and never doubt, that God is good all the time and He loves us!\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.<\/p>\n Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 1 Timothy 5:5\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The widow who is really in need\u00a0and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray\u00a0and to ask God for help.
