Psalm 95:6-7\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0our Maker;\u00a0<\/i>7<\/a>\u00a0<\/i><\/span>for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.<\/i><\/p>\n

Family and Friends, and all who would like to join, let us come to the Lord and bow down.\u00a0 Let us do it both in private and corporately.\u00a0 Let us focus on our blessings that vastly outnumber the hard events of our life.\u00a0 Let us thank God for parents, spouses, kids, grandkids, friends, jobs, shelter and for those who care and help.\u00a0 Let\u2019s thank Him for warm days and for cool days, for the bright sunny days and for the days of relaxation on a porch watching the rain fall.\u00a0 Let\u2019s thank God for beautiful music that makes us laugh and makes us cry.\u00a0 Let us thank God for this beautiful world that He created for us to live in.\u00a0 Let us thank God for His creativity in the clouds and for the way, like a whiteboard, He wipes it clean and makes the clouds look like something else.\u00a0 Thank the Lord for the dog, and yes cats (it happens!) that greet us at the door when we come home.\u00a0 They are always so happy to see us!\u00a0 Let us thank God for the good things we taste for the thousandth time and also for the first time.\u00a0 Let us thank God for people who see us and their eyes light up.\u00a0 Let\u2019s thank God for the unexpected and precious call from a friend, or for the unexpected visit from a friend who we have not seen for such a long time.\u00a0 Let us revel in the blessings that others receive.\u00a0 Let us love the grandchild of a friend or acquaintance that is lovingly, and proudly, showing one of the joys of their hearts.\u00a0 Let\u2019s thank God for the seemingly endless variety of flora and fauna.\u00a0 Let\u2019s relive the time we saw a shooting star across a quiet, dark, but starlit night.\u00a0 Let us thank God for the changing seasons.\u00a0 Let us thank God for friends who forgive us.\u00a0 Let us thank God for giving us pastors that genuinely love us and pray for us even when we are not easy to love.\u00a0 Yes, the things to thank God for are endless.\u00a0 Most of all let us thank God that, in spite of us, He has loved us and paid the ultimate sacrifice for us all.\u00a0 Of all that we have to be thankful for, let us be thankful to Him, and to His Son Jesus Christ, and to His precious Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

So yes, let us bow down in humble appreciation to God and worship Him.\u00a0 Let us laugh and cry with Him who loves us with an unlimited love.\u00a0 Let\u2019s kneel down before Him and acknowledge His wonderful majesty that is nothing He tries to do, He is just being Himself.\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 Shout it to the world!\u00a0 Open our windows and shout \u201cPraise God\u201d with complete abandon!\u00a0 Let\u2019s do it because it is the Truth that lives within us.\u00a0 We are His people and He zealously and perfectly loves and watches over us.\u00a0 Let\u2019s be thankful that He loves us, protects us and provides for us.\u00a0 And even, though God forbid, should we die of disease, or hunger, or some other undesired event, let our last words be \u201cPraise God!\u00a0 He is good and He loves us!\u201d\u00a0 He is our Shepherd, we are His flock.\u00a0 Is there anywhere else to be?\u00a0 Oh praise God!\u00a0 We love you Lord God Almighty!\u00a0 Always and forever may we thank you!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
