Psalm 131\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0My heart is not proud,\u00a0Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.\u00a0 2\u00a0But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. 3\u00a0Israel, put your hope\u00a0in the\u00a0Lord both now and forevermore.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Oh Lord make me so I am not proud, that haughtiness may never be even a glint in my eyes.\u00a0 Oh Lord please discipline me that my mind would not conceive or receive, that my heart would not with thieving filthy hands latch onto lies of pride that could be thought of by my sinful mind or the temptation of evil.\u00a0 Lord, when in this world I am surrounded by people of greater position than I.\u00a0 I thrive to remember my lowly position.\u00a0 Though my thoughts may be different to those above me, I quash them when it is out of line to reveal them.\u00a0 In earthly matters I submit to people, but in spiritual matters the source of knowledge and wisdom is only You.\u00a0 Dear, Precious Lord God Almighty please don\u2019t allow me to be proud and to believe that I can know Your counsel before you give it.\u00a0 May I wait on You to give it to me and You always do.\u00a0 Sometimes I wait, and oh so often You give before I ask.\u00a0 You enjoy releasing into me the beauty of Your Word.\u00a0 I am ravenous for it!\u00a0 It is life and hope and beauty that is only its own.\u00a0 Train me Lord not to foolishly rush ahead but to know the beauty of Your timing in the releasing of Your wisdom, knowledge and will in.\u00a0 Your timing is divine and perfect! \u00a0Oh, hallelujah!\u00a0 The joy of receiving from You is matchless!\u00a0 With joy and sure expectation I am an eaglet with mouth open waiting for You to give to me!\u00a0 Oh yes Lord, You are my meat and my drink!\u00a0 You sustain me!<\/div>\n

Lord God, please do not allow me to be prideful and think that I can know Your will, that I can know the path that You have designed apart from the giving of it to me by You.\u00a0 My desire is to know only what You give to me. \u00a0May it be Your soft, sweet and Almighty Powerful Holy Spirit that lovingly gives to me all I need as You lead me where I should go.<\/span><\/p>\n

You Lord God cause me to be weaned from self-sufficiency and I wait in peace for the sure eternal wisdom-food that comes only from You.\u00a0 My lovely Lord God Almighty You are my only food.\u00a0 Lord, should I have within me a high place for any other thing or purpose, in Your love for me, purge it from me, burn it out, beat it and chase it from me.\u00a0 I desire to desire to only please You and receive from You.\u00a0 You Lord are the Creator and Lover of my soul and there is none other than You!\u00a0 You will continue to always feed me on Your divine schedule and so I will have all I need.\u00a0 Lord let me not be proud or foolish but to know and trust that You are my full sufficiency.\u00a0 I only want what You give because I trust in You!\u00a0 Lord may I please be entirely dependent upon You!\u00a0 That is how it should be and it alone is what is right and within this truth my spirit is in peace as its coordinates and its face are headed toward You and facing You.\u00a0 With the wind of your Spirit at my back, with my sales full and with my eyes seeing You before me, Oh Lord, the beauty of You fills my soul!\u00a0 Praise you God!\u00a0 With all that I am I praise You!\u00a0 Lord, please fill my eyes with You!\u00a0 You are the creator of all and so may I see You in all.\u00a0 May my mind and spirit be trained to only know, from all that I see, Your divine perspective.\u00a0 Lord, being with You, learning from You, trusting only in You (and certainly not in myself) is divine peace that can only be found in You.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I thank You Lord that even this knowledge that You are my every source comes from You!\u00a0 You Lord God are my blessed assurance and the quiet of my soul.\u00a0 Glory to You Lord!\u00a0 Praise You God!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
