Matthew 6:33<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 \u201cBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
Matthew 6:21<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 \u201cFor where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
Fill in the blank of the following, \u201cAll I want is *****.\u201d\u00a0 We have said these words, and have heard others say them.\u00a0 After these words, even prayers, we have either not gotten what we wanted, gotten and lost it, or gotten and kept it and found it was not the end of wanting, but perhaps more of a burden then a blessing.\u00a0 Careers are not the end all.\u00a0 Neither are houses, cars, vacations, friends or anything else, except Jesus.\u00a0 We were made to be one with God and nothing but being one with God will satisfy the endless want we all have.\u00a0 More likely than not, Believer or not, we all have one or more of the \u201cIf I have that I will be one hundred percent satisfied\u201d beliefs in our lives.\u00a0 Yet let us consider that most everything we have in our life, besides God, is something we have pursued or worked for. Often what we want eludes us, or runs from us.\u00a0 Yet God is He who pursues us, who came seeking us out to be one with us and to bless us.\u00a0 Everything that does not truly satisfy we pursue.\u00a0 He who is our satisfaction, our peace, pursues us.\u00a0 God calls to us (John 6:44, 2 Thessalonians 2:14<\/b>).\u00a0 We did not seek Him first, He first sought us, just like He did Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:9<\/b>).<\/p>\n
Once we have something in this world we must then take care of it.\u00a0 We must clean it, polish it, put fuel or nourishment into it, register it, license it, protect it from theft, take care of it lest it rot or ruin.\u00a0 Yet if God is our prize, if God is what we most desire, than we will have as much of God as we want and He will take care of us.<\/p>\n
We have as much of God as we have wanted.\u00a0 God wants to pour Himself into us.\u00a0 He loves us and wants us to fill ourselves with Him.\u00a0 He know it is a good thing, the best thing, for us.\u00a0 It is because He loves us that He draws us to Him and continuously fills us with Himself.\u00a0 It is for our benefit, not His, that He pours His goodness, and that He pours Himself, onto us and into us.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because He loves us.\u00a0 God has promised that if He is our prize, than we shall fully, and eternally have our prize.\u00a0 No pursuing needed.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s our choice.\u00a0 What is our prize?\u00a0 If it is God, then we shall have it through Jesus our Savior and Lord.\u00a0 If it is anything else, then our future will be filled with tiredness as we forever chase to grasp the wind.\u00a0 Know God, know peace. No God, No peace.\u00a0 God desires us, do we desire Him?\u00a0 If so we have more of God than we can contain.\u00a0 If God is not our prize than we will never have enough of anything.\u00a0 If He is our prize we will be full and satisfied.\u00a0 It is our choice.\u00a0 We must choose.\u00a0 Let us have God as our prize and let His praises fill our hearts and overflow our mouths.\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n
