Psalm 37:25-26<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken\u00a0<\/i>or their children begging bread.\u00a026<\/a><\/span>They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.<\/i><\/p>\n

Isaiah 43:18-19<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.\u00a0 19\u00a0See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Hebrews 11:1-2<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2\u00a0For by it the elders obtained a good report.<\/i><\/p>\n

The enemy loves to taunt us. \u00a0He loves to taunt me.\u00a0 Now I am not writing the following to gain sympathy, but to glorify God.\u00a0 Family and Friends, God is my everything.\u00a0 He has said of Himself \u201cGod said to Moses, \u201cI AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: \u2018I AM has sent me to you.\u2019\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(Exodus 3:14<\/b>)\u00a0 I have learned that God is expressing that He can be our everything if we allow Him to be.\u00a0 Not that we can change Him, or that He is continuously changing from one thing to another, but that our God who does not change (Malachi 3:6<\/b>) is always, continuously, and eternally our everything, if we will seek Him and submit to Him.\u00a0 It is not that He changes to become what we need, but rather that He is, in every way, what we need Him to be.\u00a0 We may ask \u201cLord, are You my Protector?\u201d\u00a0 Or are You my Provider, my Leader, my Advisor, comforter, and the One who loves my soul?\u00a0 Every time He replies to us \u201cI AM.\u201d\u00a0 Praise God! The great I AM!\u00a0 He is my everything and wants to be the \u201cEverything\u201d for all of us, if we humble ourselves and seek Him.<\/p>\n

As I above wrote, I am not seeking sympathy, I am testifying that God is faithful.\u00a0 About nine months ago I was laid off from work (By a very good and loved employer).\u00a0 Over the last two or three years I have faced this more than once.\u00a0 I did not worry.\u00a0 I prayed to the Lord \u201cWell Lord, I guess it is once again time to watch You work.\u00a0 He always blesses me with another job.\u00a0 Usually fairly quickly.\u00a0 If you have seen me, you know that I have missed very few meals and when I have, it is likely that I have because I wanted to or was just too busy at the time.\u00a0 I have not missed a meal because of lack of provision.\u00a0 No, not ever.<\/p>\n

When laid off I prayed to God that I would not relinquish my faith in Him.\u00a0 That was a statement of confidence in whom He has revealed Himself to me to be.\u00a0 Never in my life, not ever, has God not been faithful to me.\u00a0 Always He has loved me and cared for me, even when I have been unlovable.\u00a0 That\u2019s what love does, that\u2019s what He does.\u00a0 Though I have sinned, God was faithful.\u00a0 When I was in physical, or emotional danger, God has always been, without fail, my provider and protector.\u00a0 Though I have failed Him, He has never failed me.\u00a0 So it not that I am wonderful in any way, if you know me you know that is true, but that God is wonderful in every way.\u00a0 When I am need I seek out the great I AM who is always just what I need.<\/p>\n

I am not wealthy and not \u201cwell to do.\u201d\u00a0 We are a working class with family.\u00a0 So being laid off for any amount of time can be scary.\u00a0 Certainly it can be for us if we look at the circumstances (the bank account).\u00a0 Now we had a small bit of savings and we knew, and know, that the Lord could stretch that.\u00a0 He always has, He does not change, so He always will.\u00a0\u00a0 But Family and Friends, if you had told me that I would be in my ninth month of unemployment, and not missed paying a bill, or never missed having food to eat, well I would have known that only God can do things like that.\u00a0 Not only have we paid our bills and have had food to eat, but we still tithe on anything that comes in.\u00a0 Furthermore we have given to missionaries, or other charities, and given to birthday gifts.\u00a0 Maybe the amounts we gave was smaller, but we gave.\u00a0 We have been determined to not live in fear, but in faith.\u00a0 We know that God has always provided and He always will provide.\u00a0 So how we choose to live in faith may seem foolish to many but those of you who know the Lord know that we are only doing what any of you would do in the same circumstances.\u00a0 I know whom I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to keep me (2 Timothy 1:12<\/b>).\u00a0 God knows our situation.\u00a0 He has not put us on a back shelf to collect dust.\u00a0 His loving and protective eyes and heart are always on us and with us.<\/p>\n

Having not worked in so long the enemy loves to tell me \u201cYes, God uses you, but the world has no use for you. You are worthless to this world.\u00a0 That\u2019s why you are unemployed so long.\u201d\u00a0 Family I hate devil.\u00a0 He knows where to strike, he knows how to hurt.\u00a0 So, I agree with the devil.\u00a0 There is nothing valuable about me.\u00a0 The only value I have comes from God Himself.\u00a0 When He gives me something to do, when He sends me on a mission, then I am priceless.\u00a0 His love for me, His love that fills me and flows through me to others is proof that He lives within me that this no-good for nothing man becomes a tool that was crafted in the mind of God and as such is invaluable.\u00a0 No, I am not working, but I am loved by God.\u00a0 What more shall I ask for?\u00a0 I don\u2019t even deserve that but nevertheless I undisputedly have it because of who He is.\u00a0 Oh praise God!\u00a0 Oh I love our God!<\/p>\n

I will not dwell on the former things that will tear me down.\u00a0 The sins of my past have been banished from the mind of God by God Himself.\u00a0 The \u201cbefore God\u201d fears are fleeing because I am past that past.\u00a0 God, who parts seas, who raises the dead, who heals the sick and comforts the brokenhearted loves me.\u00a0 He who makes a way where there is no way considers me of infinite value.\u00a0 Wow God loves me!\u00a0 I don\u2019t deserve His love but I will forever cling to it!\u00a0 God loves me, whom, or what shall I fear? (Psalm 27:1, Romans 8:31-39<\/b>).<\/p>\n

God has made what was once too much to hope for my reality.\u00a0 We live day to day, week to week, and month to month.\u00a0 We consume manna from God.\u00a0 Our bills our paid and we have food to eat by the multiplying of fish and loaves of bread.\u00a0 Family and friends, God is faithful!\u00a0 Living by faith, day to day, is a wonderful place to be, if our faith is in God.\u00a0 Actually, even for those with huge bank accounts and great jobs will hopefully know that they truly also live day to day, by the mercy of God, because no man is promised tomorrow (James 4:13-14<\/b>). Provision is a reality that we see today, and tomorrow, only through eyes of faith.\u00a0 From God, from the faith He builds in us, what is not is, or will be.\u00a0 Only because God is good and He loves us.\u00a0 Only knowing God makes any of this believable.\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 Have faith in God and see the things that have not materially appeared become real before your eyes as God determines.<\/p>\n

What if the Lord would have us to be hungry in the future?\u00a0 What if our bills were not to be paid?\u00a0 What is I had to live on the streets?\u00a0 Would that change how I see God?\u00a0 No, not in any way!\u00a0 For God does not change. Since He is loving and great today, so will He be tomorrow.\u00a0 He knows best.\u00a0 I pray that God will make me to be, for the rest of my life, and with my dying breath, one who always and continuously praises our good and loving God.\u00a0 Praise God who, in spite of any circumstance, always loves and cares for us.\u00a0 For me.\u00a0 Yes, let\u2019s always have the wonder and joy of God in our hearts and on our minds.\u00a0 He is faithful!\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
