2 Timothy 1:12b\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0\u201cI am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
I know, on an intimate basis, whom I have believed in. My heart jumped when I heard of Him but like wolves bringing down a majestic elk, doubts, worries and shame made me doubt that I could be forgiven.\u00a0 If it had been up to me that would have been the end of the story and I would have disappeared many years ago.\u00a0 However, that was not the end of the story (obviously).\u00a0 He whom I have believed in, whom I do believe in, made sure that was not the end of the story.\u00a0 Family and Friends, He kept visiting me.\u00a0 He wrote of His love for me in a book.\u00a0 He shared the book with everyone who would come.\u00a0 He knew that some who read His book would tell me about His great love for me.\u00a0 He made sure that I was reminded of His love from people shouting on street corners, or from billboards, or from people who already were in love with Him.\u00a0 I heard the same message over and over again.\u00a0 He kept sending the message of His love to me.\u00a0 He kept saying to me that it does not matter what I have done, what I have said, what has at times been in my heart because He will continue to touch my heart.\u00a0 He has never, not ever, let me down.\u00a0 I believe in Him because He introduced Himself to me, because He cared for me\u2026because He has loved me.\u00a0 Every day He proves to me that He loves me.\u00a0 And He knows me, oh He knows me.\u00a0 When sadness sneaks through a weak spot into my heart He comes to me and heals the weak spot and gives me the antidote to the poison.\u00a0 Yes, I know in whom I have believed in.\u00a0 He loves me.<\/p>\n
I am persuaded of what I had at one time I thought was impossible.\u00a0 In fact, at one time I had no idea about it.\u00a0 I am persuaded that He loves me and that He cares for me. At one time I did not know but He Himself persuaded me.\u00a0 He did it by revealing meaning in the Words of His book.\u00a0 He came to live within me and teach wonders beyond my imagination.\u00a0 He taught me the majesty of His wisdom and He taught me of His endless knowledge.\u00a0 Every day He is with me.\u00a0 Every day He talks to me.\u00a0 Every day He guides me.\u00a0 He counsels me at every turn.\u00a0 He gives me one consistent message that is behind everything He teaches me and that message is His love.\u00a0 I am loved.\u00a0 He loves me.\u00a0 I believe it.\u00a0 I have been persuaded by His love and His Word that He loves me.\u00a0 Yes, I know whom I have believed and am fully and completed persuaded.<\/p>\n
In His love He introduced Himself to me and swore that He would never leave me.\u00a0 He taught me, He convinced me, He persuaded me. \u00a0He taught me that my deepest treasure which I entrust to Him He will forever keep safe for me. \u00a0He knew it was not easy for me to hand it over.\u00a0 He has told me that when I get to heaven the deepest treasure of my heart will be there.\u00a0 He has given me endless proofs of His ability to keep safe and secure for all eternity that which I have entrusted to Him.\u00a0 I handed to Him the most tender love I have.\u00a0 I handed to Him what I cannot live without.\u00a0 He showed me, so many times over, that He is the great I AM.\u00a0 He proved to me that He is mighty and that what I have given Him He will protect it because He said He would. \u00a0His Word is a power than cannot be broken.\u00a0 He is tender love, but He also is unbridled and eternal power that is so great none can begin to fathom it.\u00a0 Although He could have ordered me to hand over my greatest treasure He did not.\u00a0 He asked for it and promised to keep it safe, even from me.\u00a0 Every day He proves Himself to me as He does what He says He will do. He protects my soul.\u00a0 He protects my heart.\u00a0\u00a0 He holds close the love I have for Him which is what He first gave to me.\u00a0 He protects the bond that He gave me so long ago.\u00a0 He loves me beyond my comprehension. Yes, I know whom I have believed and am fully and completed persuaded.<\/p>\n
Yes, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.\u00a0 He guards and keeps me.\u00a0 He always has and always will.\u00a0 Though circumstances may batter me, ever faithful is God.\u00a0 Forever and continuously I seek to express my love to Him as He has expressed it to me.\u00a0 Hey, it\u2019s a goal!<\/p>\n
Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n
