Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/p>\n
Matthew 11:28-30<\/b>\u00a0–<\/span>\u00a0<\/sup><\/b><\/span>\u201cCome to me,\u00a0all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.\u00a029\u00a0Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,\u00a0for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.\u00a030\u00a0For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n Mark 12:29-31<\/b>\u00a0–<\/i><\/span>\u00a0\u201cThe most important one,\u201d<\/i><\/span>\u00a0answered Jesus,\u00a0<\/i><\/span>\u201cis this: \u2018Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.\u00a0<\/i><\/span>\u00a030\u00a0Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.\u2019\u00a0<\/span>\u00a031\u00a0The second is this: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019 There is no commandment greater than these.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Family and Friends, God has called us with to an uncomplicated life.\u00a0 Not an easy life, but an uncomplicated one.\u00a0 We are to love being honest, being fair, and being just with one another, and to ourselves.\u00a0 We do that because we have the love of God within.\u00a0 If we have the love of God within then we are kind and just.\u00a0 If we do not have the love of God within, we are not His.<\/p>\n Family and Friends, God has called us with to an uncomplicated life.\u00a0 Not an easy life, but an uncomplicated one.\u00a0 We are to love being merciful to one another, and to ourselves.\u00a0 We do that because we have the love of God within.\u00a0 If we have the love of God within then we are merciful.\u00a0 If we do not have the love of God within, we are not His.<\/p>\n Family and Friends, God has called us with to an uncomplicated life.\u00a0 Not an easy life, but an uncomplicated one.\u00a0 We are to walk humbly with God.\u00a0 If we always remember that we are no different than anyone else, that we also are only right with God because of Jesus and not because of anything that we are or because of anything that we do (Ephesians 2:8-9<\/b>), that will keep us humble.\u00a0 We remember what John Bradford (1510-1555)\u00a0<\/b>said \u201cThere but for the grace of God goes John Bradford.\u201d\u00a0 We insert our name in place of our Brother Bradford\u2019s.\u00a0 Knowing that we are saved by grace and nothing else we will walk humbly before God and with each other.\u00a0 We do that because we have the love for God and of God within.\u00a0 If we have the love of God within then we are humble.\u00a0 If we do not have the love of God within, we are not His.<\/p>\n We come to Jesus because we know the perpetual and eternal truth, we cannot save ourselves.\u00a0 Ultimately and always we live and thrive only because of Jesus, who He is and what He has done.\u00a0 We come to Him, and the grace of God through Him soothes our hearts and our minds.\u00a0 Because of Him, because of who God is, and not because of anything within us, we love God with all that we are, and before anyone or anything else.\u00a0 Only because of God can we love Him and also love others in a manner approaching how God loves us all.\u00a0 Knowing that we are saved by grace and by nothing else we walk in love before God and with each other.\u00a0 Since God has loved us we have the love of God within are able to love each other.\u00a0 If we do not have the love of God within, we are not His.<\/p>\n Family and Friends, let us love one another (1 John 4:7<\/b>), then we will be just, merciful and humble with each other.\u00a0 If we really have the love of God within, that will take care of everything else.\u00a0 Love God and ipso facto we will love each other. It really is that simple.\u00a0 Really!\u00a0 Love is the answer.\u00a0 Not any love, but the love of God.\u00a0 Blessings and love to everyone.
