Philippians 1:9<\/b>\u00a0\u201cAnd this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
Jesus was and is our model of how to love.\u00a0 He loved because that is who He was and is.\u00a0 So must we love the same way.\u00a0 Not grudgingly, but rushing to do what is loving not because we ought to, but because we must, and we must because that is who we are.\u00a0 We must yield to the Holy Spirit so that He may change each of us into the \u201cnew creation\u201d that we are called to be (2 Corinthians 5:17<\/b>).\u00a0 God is preparing us for Heaven.\u00a0 He is helping us to shed the creation that this world bore to the creation that God has supernaturally born us to be.\u00a0 As the love of God is poured into us and it changes us to be the same as He from whom it came, we are transformed from beings who think about what are the attributes of love and so try to do them, into actually letting what we have been transformed into, flow through us. \u00a0The Lord changes us to be like Him in that we don\u2019t love because we must, but because love is an increasing part of the fabric of who we are.\u00a0 We love because love is who we are.\u00a0 Selfishness is being moved out and love has made our spirit its home.\u00a0 Jesus loves because it is who He is.\u00a0 We love because we are becoming like Christ.<\/p>\n
We will ever continue to be transformed by love.\u00a0 On this earth, we will not get to the point where love is perfected in us, so we keep praying and obeying.\u00a0 Still, we can get much closer to living in love than from where we began.\u00a0 We can love first because that is who we are.\u00a0 With love comes knowledge and depth of insight on how to live as God lives.\u00a0 With love is pure wisdom of God.\u00a0 Even wisdom comes from love.\u00a0 We know we have it by how we act.\u00a0 Those who truly love grow from trying to love to just loving because that is who Christ has changed them to be.\u00a0 Let\u2019s strive for love to be inherent within us.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cBeloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who\u00a0loves is born of God and knows God.\u201d<\/i>\u00a01 John 4:7<\/b>\u00a0 Family let\u2019s be like God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as He transforms us to be like Him.\u00a0 Let\u2019s love from a changed and pure heart.\u00a0 And let us never stop continuing to thank and praise God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18<\/b>).\u00a0 God is good all the time and He loves us.\u00a0 That is our goal. Praise God!<\/p>\n
