Jeremiah 33:1-3\u00a0<\/b>\u2013\u00a0While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard\u00a0of the guard, the word of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0came to him a second time:\u00a02\u00a0\u201cThis is what the\u00a0Lord says, he who made the earth,\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0who formed it and established it\u2014the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is his name:\u00a03\u00a0\u2018Call\u00a0to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable\u00a0things you do not know.\u2019<\/i>\u00a0NIV<\/p>\n
Jeremiah 33:1-3<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0While Jeremiah was still locked up in jail, a second Message from\u00a0God was given to him: 2-3\u00a0\u201cThis is\u00a0God\u2019s Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as\u00a0God: \u2018Call to me and I will answer you. I\u2019ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>The Message<\/p>\n
When the prophet Jeremiah was in prison, the Lord came and spoke to Him. When we are in prisons, when we are in tough times, we seek the Lord.\u00a0 We call out for His help.\u00a0 The Lord desires for us to stop what we are doing, He desires for us to stop worrying, He wants us to just stop and turn to Him.\u00a0 He always wants us to first and always seek Him.\u00a0 As we are getting out of bed, before our feet hit the floor, we should begin to fellowship with God.\u00a0 In spite of popular opinion, the first thing we need in the morning is not coffee, but to fellowship with God.\u00a0 Fellowshipping with God means to put our attention on Him, to talk to Him, to truly expect Him to communicate to us.\u00a0 We turn our faces first to God (Psalm 59:16<\/b>).\u00a0 God moves when we seek Him.<\/p>\n
Acts 16:22-30<\/b>\u00a0tells us of a time when Paul and Silas were wrongly sentenced to be beaten with rods.\u00a0 They were severely flogged and then put into an inner cell in the prison.\u00a0 At midnight, after a day that most of us would call a truly horrendous day, what were they doing?\u00a0 They were praying and singing hymns to God. Their faith in God was not altered.\u00a0 It grew.\u00a0 They sang out their praise and lifted them up to God.\u00a0 God heard and He sent a big earthquake.\u00a0 Paul and Silas could have fled (the prison doors had flown open), but instead they stayed in the circumstances that God had them in.\u00a0 They wanted to be where God wanted them to be, even if that meant they were to be in prison.\u00a0\u00a0 Because of their faith, because they continued to pray and praise God, their prison guard came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior and so did His family.\u00a0 Being in a hard spot, of any kind, does not mean that God is angry with us or we are out of His will.\u00a0 They were right where God wanted them and their faith was strong. God used them to bring people into the kingdom of God. You know that even though their bodies hurt, their spirits and souls soared.\u00a0 God hears our prayers.\u00a0 God moves when we seek Him.<\/p>\n
God desires for us to have our attention on Him and our will yielded to Him.\u00a0 As we seek Him He will reveal to us great wonders that are beyond our ability to know unless He reveals them to us.\u00a0 The least of the wisdom of God is infinitely beyond the greatest wisdom of man (1 Corinthians 1:25<\/b>). \u00a0To those who are His own, when we ask for His wisdom He will give it to us (James 1:5<\/b>).\u00a0 At all times, in every place, let us be quiet before the Lord and hear what He would say to us.\u00a0 Let\u2019s sit before His throne and have Him bless us with His Wisdom.\u00a0 He has already given us His Word and He has given us His Spirit.\u00a0 In His Word is more knowledge than we can, in this lifetime, fully know.\u00a0 His Word reveals His will for us and more importantly, His Word leads us to Him and reveals Him to us.\u00a0 Family, do we truly want to know eternal mysteries.\u00a0 God wants to expand our minds.\u00a0 He wants to blow open the prison cells of our natural abilities and pour into us wisdom and knowledge that the natural mind does not know and cannot conceive.\u00a0 God wants us to learn eternal knowledge.\u00a0 Like children laying under a sky filled with majestic and twinkling stars, and wondering and staring in awe, so let us be in awe and let God tell us the story of creation, and of undying love, and of the One who provides for and protects all who love Him.\u00a0 Let God amaze us!\u00a0 Praise God!\u00a0 Lord God, let it be so, amaze us as only You can.\u00a0 You, oh God, are truly amazing.\u00a0 Lord You move when we seek You. Praise you God!<\/p>\n
Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n
Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.<\/p>\n
Micah 6:8<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0He has shown You, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good; And what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of You but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with Your God.<\/p>\n
