Psalm 107:1-2a, 43<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Oh give thanks to the\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Lord<\/i><\/span>,\u00a0for He is good,<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/span>for his steadfast love endures forever!\u00a0 Let\u00a0the redeemed of the\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Lord\u00a0<\/i><\/span>say so, Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Lord<\/i><\/span>.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremiah 31:3<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0Lord\u00a0appeared to us in the past,\u00a0saying:\u00a0<\/i>\u201cI have loved\u00a0you with an everlasting love; I have drawn\u00a0you with unfailing kindness.<\/i><\/p>\n

I confess that I am wildly, absolutely, completely, with total abandon in love with Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord.\u00a0 I wish my words could sufficiently relate to you the wonder of Him!<\/p>\n

I have always been loved, though I never deserved it.\u00a0 My parents loved me, my grandparents loved me.\u00a0 I even had a couple aunts and uncles who loved me.\u00a0 Born into the Catholic faith I was blessed to have an aunt and uncle to swear before God that they would always love me and be there for me, and they always have been, even to this day.\u00a0 Yet, though the love of all these could warm my heart they were never enough.\u00a0 They couldn\u2019t be, they were never meant to be.<\/p>\n

With all the love I received I also loved all these\u2026and so many more relatives and friends.\u00a0 I always loved.\u00a0 Loving them was great.\u00a0 Yet, though I sincerely loved all of them, I could never love them as much as I should.\u00a0 I could never be unselfish enough to love them with a love they were designed for.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t, I was never designed to be able to.<\/p>\n

As I grew, I thought that maybe I could have a best friend that could could be so close that the friendship would bring the love and peace I knew I needed.\u00a0 I had many good friends, but never a best friend.\u00a0 All my friends had closer friends.\u00a0 Though some were sincere friends, they could never be the kind of friend I was searching for.\u00a0 They couldn\u2019t be, I couldn\u2019t be to them, they and I were never meant to be.<\/p>\n

I thought maybe if I could find a girl to love me as I would love her, then this search for love and peace would find a happy ending.\u00a0 At times I thought that I would never find someone to love me in such a way.\u00a0 No girl would want to love me and be my best friend and to stick with me through good times and bad times.\u00a0 I, several times, considered just ending it.\u00a0 A few times.\u00a0 But I didn\u2019t because I couldn\u2019t do that to my mom.\u00a0 I figured my Dad was strong and would recover (I was wrong) but my mom, I knew it would be an irreversible blow to her.\u00a0 So, I managed, barely at times, to not end it.<\/p>\n

The Lord brought me a girl who loved me.\u00a0 I finally had someone who loved me and wanted to be my best friend.\u00a0 She would stick with me through good times and bad (and she has).\u00a0 She selected me as the guy she would spend her life with.\u00a0 She loved me as much as a girl could love a guy.\u00a0 I thought that her love would fulfill my need for love and forever I would I have peace and happiness.\u00a0 For a while that was true.\u00a0 Though her love grew stronger I realized that her love and friendship, though wonderful, was not what my heart ultimately longed for.\u00a0 Something was missing.\u00a0 Though we loved each with all that we were, though we made each other laugh and gave each other peace, I knew that something was missing.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know what that something was.\u00a0 We were boyfriend and girlfriend, then fianc\u00e9s, and then husband and wife, but something was still missing.\u00a0 We were lovers, we were one, but for her and me, we could not be the ultimate fulfillment that both of us needed and wanted.\u00a0 We were not enough for each other.\u00a0 We couldn\u2019t be.\u00a0 We were never meant to be.<\/p>\n

What I didn\u2019t know was that Jesus, who has loved me from an everlasting past and will love me into an everlasting future, wanted to be the one to fulfill the need for the certain kind of love I was looking for.\u00a0 He had called to me my whole life.\u00a0 He started calling to me before I was.\u00a0 How, because He knew me before I was, loved me before I was, and knew He would love me forever and ever.\u00a0 He knew that, although I would live in enemy territory, that He would love me and provide the awakening touch of love as He would die for me.\u00a0 Then, by the power of the triune and unified God, He rose to create the path to come home.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0I found out the great love of Jesus for me.\u00a0 He designed me and knew my exact make up and exactly what I needed.\u00a0 He loved me so much, before I was born, that He put a homing beacon in me to keep calling me to Him.\u00a0 He did not make the homing beacon so loud that it would overpower me, but that it would continuously send a loving impulse to my heart and mind that would release an urge to seek what could be found and what would satisfy.\u00a0 Finally I followed the call and found the One who loved me as only He could.\u00a0 Now, I am fully loved.\u00a0 Now at peace.\u00a0 Now I am satisfied.\u00a0 In fact, His love has made the love of all others much more beautiful as seen through His love.\u00a0 Now I have found the only One who could love me as I sought.\u00a0 He is the one who was meant to satisfy the call that was within me.\u00a0 Only Jesus.\u00a0 He and I, I and Him, He and the Father and the Spirit and me with them.\u00a0 It is an eternal love, joy and oneness that will never die.\u00a0 How blessed I am.\u00a0 \u00a0I love to confess that I am wildly, absolutely, completely, in total abandon in love with Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord.\u00a0 I wish my words could sufficiently relate to you the wonder of Him! The best I can do is to tell, as best I as I can, how wonderful He is to me and how He wants that relationship with you.\u00a0 Not in part, but in full. Every day and every minute He loves you.\u00a0 If you have this relationship with Him, well then, you know.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t, follow the homing beacon within that leads to Him.\u00a0 You will not regret it!\u00a0 Praise our God!\u00a0 Thank you Jesus!\u00a0 Praise our God!<\/p>\n

Psalm 150:6<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/i><\/p>\n

Micah 7:7<\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0But as for me, I watch\u00a0in hope\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
